Outwell has created a
unique frame that interlinks each upright via an apex tube that also
enhances rigidity. Isolation valves ensure the frame does not fully deflate
in the unlikely event of damage and facilitates repair.
This quality Collection comprises the Concorde range of tents, awnings and
extensions made in Outwell’s market-leading Technical Cotton – Outtex®
Airtech polycotton in Oil Green.
Packed full of outstanding features yet more examples of Outwell innovation
include: simple pitching with the Outwell Easy Pegging System; large tinted
windows, Outwell Sealed Ground System that attaches groundsheet to tent; the
much copied Rain-safe door; and the Outwell Wave-shaped Hanging Point System
for stress-free inner tent seams.
The huge Concorde XL sleeps up to ten in two pairs of bedrooms that sit
opposite each other across the large living room vis-à-vis style. An
optional awning and extension can be fitted to the side of the tent to
further increase living space. The Concorde M and L sleep up to five and six
people respectively. Front awning and extension options are available for
each model.
Smart Air tent features include:
Outwell One-go Inflation Technology New for 2013, the development
of the stunning Outwell One-go Inflation Technology allows the camper to
plug a supplied pump into any one of the inlet/outlet valves that appears on
each tube section and inflate the largest of tents in next to no time. No
moving the pump between individual air tubes – just plug in, pump up and go!
A manometer on the high-volume double-action pump ensures the correct
pressure. The simple-to-pitch and highly effective frame links uprights via
an apex tube that also acts as a ridge pole for increased rigidity. In the
unlikely event of damage, each individual upright assembly can be isolated
using valves to prevent the frame from fully deflating and to facilitate
easy repair. All the air inlet/outlet valves can be opened to rapidly
deflate the tent for packing.
Outwell Easy Pegging System – this is the proven way to ensure the
right pegs are used for the right job. Simple, but highly effective, three
types of pegs are used to anchor specific areas of the tent.
Outwell Floating Guyline System – two black lines lead to a single
luminous line that pegs out. The System is easier to pitch and minimises the
amount of lines to trip over. Plus, the optical illusion created by the
colours adds to the tent’s streamlined look, with the luminous guy appearing
to float above the ground.
Tinted Windows – provide protection from the sun and add to privacy
while maintaining views out.
Night Sky Ceiling – this is used in inner tents to enhance sleep by
reducing light levels. Perfect if you want to snatch a nap during the day,
get an early night, enjoy a lie-in, or ensure early-rising children wake a
little later than normal.
Outwell Wave-shape Hanging Point System – the good-looking design
of the Outwell Wave-shaped Hanging Point System spreads the strain created
when the inner is suspended from the outer tent, along the whole of its seam
rather than having any stress concentrated in a single area where it can
cause damage.
Universal Inner tent – allows zipped access between two bedrooms, or
can be used to create one big bedroom, or used to take down and roll away
one side to increase living space.
