Towsure began in 1967 as a small family store in the suburbs of
Sheffield, selling towing brackets and trailer parts. Throughout the
seventies the demand for towing, trailer parts and accessories grew, and so
in 1977 Towsure produced the first mail order catalogue to demonstrate the
wide range of low cost parts.
From that day on to this present day Towsure has continued to grow to become
the United Kingdom's leading towing and outdoor leisure store. From that
small store in Sheffield which has now been expanded to 15,000 square feet
of showroom space, Towsure now operates from an 80,000 square foot
distributuion centre with a despatch team that in peak times may work 24
hours a day sending out the hundreds of thousands of orders they receive
throughout the year, together with a call centre with dedicated sales and
aftersales customer service and technical support departments.
