Robens Verve 2 Tent

Award-winning technical tent manufacturer, Robens, has introduced a new model to its Trail range that provides each of its two occupants the luxury and versatility of their own extended porch and entrance – features much appreciated when trekking in wilder conditions.

The 2.4kg Verve 2 tent is a two-person transverse single hoop tent that quickly pitches inner first. It features two main doors that allow sheltered access no matter the wind direction. An additional outer apex pole increases the headroom and useable porch space that’s especially useful when sitting out bad weather.
Condensation control is a priority in such conditions and two-way centre door zips, front and rear vents and low vents ensure ample ventilation.

The outer is made from HydroTex HD, a 75D 185T polyester that is unique to Robens. This has a weather-beating 5,000mm hydrostatic head and taped seams, complemented by the tough 75D polyester Taffeta groundsheet with a 10,000mm hydrostatic head. Anodised aluminium alloy poles are used to keep the pack weight down while maintaining the tent’s strength and stability.

Features include a gear loft and storage pockets to help organise items, like torches, that need to be easily and quickly found. The inner doors also fold into side pockets to keep them tidy and safe from damage. Each inner door is backed by a mesh panel to repel insects.

The Verve 2 has an RRP of £149.99 and packs down into a 49cm x 14cm roll-top bag for convenient storage and transportation.
