Well, it wasn't quite what I wanted, but I have taken the plunge and bought an older Pennine Pullman. I was bidding on expensive, newer Crusader & Pathfinder models, when this came up for sale in my village at a very reasonable 900 and was in very good condition for a 98 - garage stored for the last 15yrs & hardly used by the looks of it. I figured I could try it out, learn to tow & not have the worry of damaging an expensive camper & then if I liked it, I could px it or sell it on & upgrade.

I'm pleased to say the whole family love it. We have been away twice in her and she tows easily, is warm & totally luxurious compared to a tent. We particularly liked the little plug in heater, that the old owners gave us, when we went away at Easter.

Happy Campers [Thanks, Liz :)]

So glad you found something at a reasonable price. I,ts probably better to start off with a cheaper unit. That way if after a couple of seasons use you are still enjoying it you can safely upgrade without worrying about having to spend a large amount. You never know you might even get back almost all you spent for your older F.C.
