So earlier this month bought a Sunncamp 260 porch awning with a view to zipping it to my Pathfinder Q6. Looked on zip to see if I could identify it and purchase same. There is nothing on it nor on the slider!! took a picture and took it to my local haberdashery no luck there. Sent picture to TVS and they said it may be a ZKK ? #10 but couldn't be sure but if I sent them the Porch awning they would fit the zip for 70 + vat. Im a bit wary spending that amount for something that may not fit. Anyone had similar probs? with sizing and type.

Sent mine to TVS to have a zip fitted. Once they know the model, year and zip colour of the unit they can usually match it. Mine works fine. Just be careful to measure exactly where you want the porch on the awning zip otherwise it gets annoying (and expensive) having it redone correctly.

Don't ask me how I know.

You'll need to open the camper up or, alternatively, look on the awning - if you have one.
We had a porch adapted for us for our Q6 and had to search out the info. Will see if it's around anywhere.

YKK10C is the standard size fitted to most Pennines for the last few years.
Available at 16.50 for a 5 metre length from HERE

Is there anything special you need to know with regard to sewing the zip on yourself? Want to have a go at this myself if I can?

What do you mean it's too cold to go camping? :)

A normal sewing machine will do the job but you'll need heavy duty needles (ones for denim are OK) and strong thread. We used sail thread.
Zip the zip on, erect the awning where you want it and pin to the zip. Carefully remove the lot and sew zip to awning. Not difficult really.

Did this one last summer
