With everybody getting ready for the season ahead just a reminder to get your camper serviced ,would not want anybody to have the disaster we had last year setting of to France luckily we were not going at speed and not to far from home but the whole wheel fell off we missed the ferry and first night in hotel breakdown man told us if we had been going at any speed we would have flipped over
Cost us 400 on the day to carry on with our journey and 600 when we got home to repair some other damage we were insured
So before you set off have wheels and brakes checked

Was that the camper wheel or car wheel. What caused it to come off, wheel nuts or hub bearing nut.

Thanks for the thread, just had 2 new tires fitted on the camper, when asked about the torque setting the fitter said 120Nm,the setting according to indespension should be 74Nm.Will get my trusty torque wrench out and adjust.
