During the half term break I took my folding camper to Wales, what a stressful experience! I only bought it in February and this is just the second time I used it.
When connecting the electric hook up one of the male pins became detached from the inside of the socket of the camper. I still tried to connect but no power on 240v was working so no heating or electric 240 sockets etc would work.
I ended up connecting a temporary male electric outlet which is simply not a permanent solution. I contacted Pennine they don't manufacturer this part anymore and have advised to source this on the second hand market. I bought the camper on Shpock for over 2k so you can imagine my frustration. I have to tape a plastic bag to the outlet to keep out rain.
Can anybody help source a replacement part? Is anyone got spares from an old camper that could help. This is a complete outlet that is screwed to the outside of the camper with the hinged lid which contains the 3 pin electrical outlet.
