Hi, we are new to this site and caravanning. Have had a few outings in the tourer and loving it. We have 2 young children (aged 4 and 2) and was wondering if anyone could recommend any rallys or events we could try that are aimed at families with young children. It would be nice for the kids to have guaranteed other children to play with and for us to enjoy some sociallising too (organised family bbq event/weekend for example). We live in the Staffordshire.

Thanks

Hiya, we're up in Barnsley with 2 boys aged 2 & 5 we've not been to any rallies as most have no EHU and it has become a necessity with us but i've been to a meet on the sole / single parent group (as it takes some presuding to get the OH to come) but we're up for a meet with other fellow campers, it's nice to be with like minded people.

Hi,  we are just getting into camping - amassing the kit - hopefully will camp this year with plenty of trips next year.

We have a lively 5 yr old who loves football and a 3 yr going on 13!  would be interested in meeting other fellow campers with similar aged kids to run around with!

Would also be keen to hear about sites that are child friendly.

Cheers

Darren

Hi! We live in Derby and have 2 boys aged 5 and 3.

I'm guessing Derbyshire is going to be quite a central location for all those that have expressed an interest so far?

Is anyone going to be brave and suggest a date that we could arrange a small meet over the summer?!

Tara, Ant, Joe & Tom x

Would be interested if anything gets organised. We are available (coincidently) every weekend until the 17th too, we might be able to swing mid-week as well.

Think it`s a bit of just go anywhere we fancy for 2012.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.

Have a look at your local d.a group, they may have youth and junior youth sections, but the majority of rallies wont have ehu, but you can have a great weekend away, for as little as £4.00 per night for the whole family, think the most i've paid this year is £7.50 a night, and they have some great get togethers and socials throughout the year.

We will be camping this weekend (10th - 12th) at C&CC Wolverley.

We're off to the West Midlands Safari Park on the Saturday.

Will anyone else be camping in that area this wekkend?
