My DS has decided about going camping over Christmas or New Year, as long as there is a pub near by.   Lady Heyes seems good. It is only about 1/2 hr to 40 mins away.     I was wanting Beechcroft. Heyho.

It will have to be EHU, so I can take heater and a few extras. The big tent will be needed. We shall see what happens.

I am coming too. I only looked a couple of days ago and there were loads of tent pitches available - all of them in fact. Will I have to move fast?

Thats it I shall book a pitch tomorrow. There will be me and DS and one dog.   I did do a check yesterday, plenty of pitches. I shall have EHU

It's not too far . I can just pop home if need to.
Anyone know whether its 10 or 16 amps.   I properbly take, tent carpet, floor rug, and vet bed used as a carpet. Plenty of fleeces and throws. Duvets, sleeping bags. For the first time halogen oven, only 1.3 kw. That's fine.

It will be second camp of the year. Fingers crossed for dryish weather.

I think it is 10amp but if you are phoning up to book you could double check. Let us know which pitch you book. I will be phoning up in the morning for mine. Going to book from 30th December till 3rd January (being optimistic!)

Just booked at the Lady Heyes.   I am the first on the camping field.to book, plenty of room.
Just asked Alex the ampage, he said it is 10 amps, which should be fine.

He said it is going to be freezing at this time of year.   I don't mind the cold, it's the constant rain.   as long ss pitch is not too muddy.
Should be fine with fan heater, plenty of layers, it can't be any colder than February. I am looking forward to this.
