It's been a while since there was a meet in South Wales. Must be 7 or 8 years since the Llandovery meet. Would love to see another organized...........Mick

Tnx Ziggy, pretty little van, get loads of people want to look at it when on site.
Next question, when you going to organise a S. Wales meet then?
We'll come, anywhere any time as long as it doesn't clash with anything already booked.
Usually come down there end of June sort of time and would then trundle off up to North Wales afterwards........Mick

ANYBODY INTERESTED IN A SOUTH/WEST WALES MEET ???

We are setting forth on the 1st of May for a couple of nights in West Sussex, visiting Amberley museum. From there down to a site in Devon for a week then on to Cornwall near St Austell for another week.
After that, depends on cash flow, laundry and weather.
If all is favourable will come up to Bristol and pop over the bridge, if not, will be back to Kent.
Will post when coming into Wales, which will probably be Riverside on J45. Not everybody's cup of tea but it suits us because of the location, proximity to Swansea where we have many friends and relations. Just a comment, outside of school holiday time Riverside is quite quiet and usually mostly empty when we go there.........Mick

HI Mike been riverside few times year b4 last the facilities need a lot of updating they weren't the best to be honest. Nice and easy to get to nice location a pity really. We use a little site near Brecon called Anchorage really nice all new facilities last season nice hotel/pub outside gates and nice café for brekkies down road that becomes a Mexican restaurant at night.

Hi, if you don't mind an interloper. I'll be interested in any meet in the S. Wales area and could probably get my brother to come. Post a date I'm sure we can get a few. Also looking to do one in the Brecon's soon, probably May, June ish..

No one is an interloper, we're all friends and nice of you to show an interest. We'll definitely be in Wales some time before the schools break up for summer. Will post when plans are finalised but if anyone has any suggestions on a venue or date we'll adjust our plans to fit in, we're pretty flexible. The only thing that gets in our way is a series of hospital apointments, comes with getting old, we're both disabled but still manage our baby van...Mick

Make it in June when Mr and Mrs Dosser and our two Hooligans (see gallery) will be gracing that area with a visit.

I just LUV pub sites!! Not that I drink copious amounts,it's just that I enjoy pub grub and being able to have a pint without having to drive anywhere being unable to walk. Also, I find that they are not normally over expensive not being the owner's primary source of income.

Strange that, cos they said the same thing last year. It was supposed to be fully operational some time before the end of last season. We don.t really need much as long as there is water and an Elsan tip we're ok tho' ehu if it's more than a couple of nights. Don't know what's wrong with the showers, maybe there's a water shortage (Ha ha)..Mick
