Hi George,

Autosleepers are one of the longest established 'van' manufactures in the UK. They also run along side the manufacturing of vehicles, a marque that retails their own, products but under a different banner. Marquis Motor Homes. It is this Company, Marquis that sell the Eton. ( Still wearing the the Autosleeper bage)You have access to the internet ( proof that you have posted on here) Just Google Marquis Motorhomes and find your nearest dealer. Marquis is one of the largest,if not the largest dealership in Uk.

It is not uncommon for motorhome Manufacturers to do this ( although not all own and manufacture) most however do a deal with a manufacturer, and brand the motorhome with another name. Eton is certainly Marquis, made by Autosleeper, but both Companies have eaqual sheres. Hope this is making sense. Lets say Swift as manufacture, and a big dealer like say Brown hills....they badge a Swift with a different name. IT HAS ITS BENEFITS, as most (Autosleepers at anyrate) have very many more gadets that a 'stright common regular' product by the manufacturer. Autosleepers badged as Marquis will be called something different from the regular Auto-sleeper range. IT WILL BE, almost identical, with a few bling bits added to it.Hope this helps, and that you can track down the info you require.

Thanks Austins for your comments and detailed explanation. I am sure this will be a great van, based on the Autosleepers Nuevo. I had looked also at a used Swift Sundance 530LP of similar age and mileage, and slightly cheaper.
I finally opted for the Sundance, not on price but the
following peculiarities personal to me :
(1) Not sure whether I could take to a rear wheel drive
    vehicle again.
(2) Unsure whether I wanted a special edition, which
seems to be rare and the model not available now.
(3) Liked the idea of 2 swivel seats (the Eton only had
    1).
(4) The bed seemed much easier to bring into use on the
Sundance, and the internal upholstery colour was
more pleasing to me (and the other half!)

Anyway I am looking forward to the delivery date. This vehicle will replace my much loved Autosleepers Trooper which has been my companion for the last 10 years.

The Eton was not a special edition, it was one of a small family of Transit based vans (Eton,Windsor,Wilton and Ascot produced from around 2007/2009 by AutoSleepers.
The Eton was very similar in size to the Nuevo
Its 2.4td engine in my opinion knocks spots of the Sevil based vans (Pugeot and Fiat)and is a comfortable ride.
There are quite a few owners of these vans on the Auto Sleepers Owners Forum should you require more detailed info
