Went to isle of Wight for 2 weeks just as the weather changed for the worst. Anyway we left our 2 fold up chairs at home and as we were there for a couple of weeks decided to look for a B&Q or similar. Got to Newport and decided to ask a local for directions. I asked an old lady for directions she then said where are you parked, not thinking I turned and pointed to the car park and in doing so caught a man squarely on the cheek and knocking off his sunglasses. I couldn't be more apologetic and was so embarrassed and said sorry many times. I just wanted the ground to swallow me up.

if your car could travel at the speed of light and you turned on your lights what would happen?

I went into B&Q on the Isle of Wight. A chap came up to me and said "Do you want decking?".   Luckily I got my punch in first

Bob and Stuart - very whitty, I like it. I can see the funny side now, but it was very heated at the time.
The Bloke went crazy at me for several minutes he called me all the F's, C's and W's. a tyrade of expletives.

I can imagine how you felt. Some people just cannot accept that accidents are not intentional and an apology is acceptable with no harm done. Had his glasses fallen on the ground and then you stepped on them I could imagine his response

Anger is a strange thing and we are all guilty of it from time to time. I don't drive much these days apart from going camping but over the last few days I have had to go out locally a few times and have remarked to my wife how impatient people seem to be on the roads just lately...sounding their horns at the slightest thing (not at me I might add) and vehicles rushing about as if there is no tomorrow. The last thing I would think to do in a tight situation is sound the horn...I would be too busy braking or swerving out of the way to even remember where my horn is!

There is a lot of anger in the world. I put it down to the lack of fat in the diet. You never see fat people getting angry do you...they are usually very jovial happy people. It's the skinny little runts that get angry all the time
