We visit quite often, and usually stay round Albert Dock somewhere

great picture Mike, i have a Panasonic Lumix camera which is a cracking compact camera, but i never use it anymore the camera on my iphone 6s is more than up to the job.

ps dont ever stay in the Formule 1 by ibis in liverpool it's a dump

For big holidays/events I have a Nikon DSLR. Also a Nikon compact but that never comes out of the drawer these days. The camera on the phone is more than good enough. Only has digital zoom but has a good depth of field feature which is actually quite effective.

But as I say, the best camera is the one you have on you.

Thanks for the heads up re Formule 1 by ibis. We've tried one or two places but the Albert Dock Premier Inn is usually OK for us and handy for the front, Liverpool 1 etc.
