Do you ever wonder why these kind of rules have been introduced? Perhaps because too many folk choose to mislead club sites to the financial detriment of the club? Perhaps its so the site would not have a lot of vacancies if folk arrived for a couple of nights over the weekend and those wanting to fit in a five stay then couldn't. Sites need to consider their financial viability. An alternative may be to charge a whole lot more for a couple of nights stay. Rules often appear illogical but there are usually very good reasons for them, generally down to how people use their sites.
Interesting concept questioning the "friendly" nature of the "friendly club" whilst liking the idea of lying to get around the rules and to "rip off" the site.
Takes all sorts..........
Phil

Phil believe it or not I was told to do this by a club site manager after I queried there policy about minimum stays over BH weekends .
And his exact words were " If you know there is pitch availability and you only want to stay 1 night only for whatever reason even if its a Bank Holiday just turn up THEY CANNOT TURN YOU AWAY IF YOUR A MEMBER "
