I have received confirmation that Karsten are making my tent in the first week of December and I may have it before Christmas!

Happy Christmas family! It'll certainly be a cracking new year!

Yes, I need to hear more about that too! There's only one tent that is better than my own, 16 year old third hand Karsten - that's a brand new made-on-order-Karsten!

Hi both,I have a 300 with comfort awning currently.

I have ordered a 350 with link tent mod, as well as the 350 comfort awning, extension awning (with 2 windows), front wall and rain awning. Got an extra window in the tent and the zip in groundsheet for the awnings too.

I am excited you could say, next years camping will not be a shout fest between me and the wife when pitching the tent!

That was the only thing my wife does not like about camping, pitching the tent. Hence the Karsten, took me 15 minutes to put up the 300 and CA on my own!

Nice and easy.

That sounds really nice, I've got the 350 with comfort awning, extension awning, and front wall. Only one window in the tent, had to make DIY windows for the extension, and no zip in groundsheets, no link tent mod either. You've choosen all the extra features I could dream of, so I'm quite envious!

I hope your tent arrives just in time for Christmas, as your gift to yourself!

Au naturel.

The tents are sea green but I prefer the classic Karsten look with the beige awnings etc.

Happy Christmas family indeed!

How easy did you find the process of ordering/ buying ? Am in the process of selling my steel pole framed tent and am completely sold on the idea of inflatable tent. Would rather buy once and buy quality.

Would appreciate any guidance you could offer .

Kind Regards.

Hi,
The whole process has been very easy. You have the same mantra as me, after using this forum I decided that Karsten tents appeared the way to go. The reviews say it all. One came up for sale on here that was only 12 months old, bargain price but still expensive so I bought it knowing I would have to buy the rest of the set new, in order to get the spec I desired.

It appeals to me for various reasons:-
Quality of equipment
Ease of set up
Modular design so you use as much or as little as required for each trip
Ease of striking
Safety in the wind

When I bought the second hand one I had still never actually seen one in the flesh! My advice is go to a display, the are fairly often in Herts... Not sure if they still travel.

See Here for more details. It was really good seeing them all up and what the end product will be, it sold the wife too.

I can't stress how easy the 300 I have is to put up. I reckon I'll be able to do the whole lot in around 45 minutes, but the main bonus is that will be relaxed pace and on my own.

The 10% off is until January I think.

Cheers.

Hi Basichendo
I take it you came to one of the shows at our place, although Karsten and James who sorts the UK side are nothing to do with me and I get nothing out of them being at our place I love having them. The tents are so nice and James and his family are great people.

Hi Gary,

Indeed I came in September. I did come into your store as well but you were in deep chat with some customers so I just had a mooch.

All the best.
