By all means, for all your stunning views from your tent (stunningly good, or stunningly bad!! ) please don't forget This excellent thread

But for everything else from the 2014 Easter camping festivities, how about bunging them all in here!!

Your first trip in your lovely new tent? Or your first ever camping trip, of course. Your tent set up. First attempt at a tarp kitchen cover? Your girly bunting and bloody fairy lights (If you must!!!)
The camp site itself. Your trip to local castles/beaches/museums/country shows and fairgrounds etc!
Cities, villages, and far away islands.

Brekkie's, Barby's (or grills, of course! ). Views of mountains. Views FROM mountains!
Riding the waves, or strolling the canal bank.
Paragliding, or cycle riding.

The kids covered in molten Easter eggs! The dog running off with a non-molten Easter egg! ...It's your own fault... it was supposed to be tethered! :-)
Get-together's, and GET LOST's!! (Sulking after that pitching fiasco, are we?... Watch out for the phantom photographer!!)
Lush pitches, or muddy pitches.
Fish & Chips on the prom, picnics on hill tops.
Fajitas... or fan heater's!
Wildlife or wild camp-site parties.
Sun shelters, and helter skelters.
Fire-side frolics. (But not the dog's bo**ocks! )
Posh loos? Too much booze? Afternoon snooze?

The good stuff, the bad stuff, and anything in between stuff.

If you're camping this Easter, keep your camera/phone charged up to the max ... and show us the evidence!

No prizes... just the joy of being involved, being on holiday... and being alive!! :-)

Back already? Then get uploading!

Let's make the 2014 Easter-camp one to remember.
Pics, Pics, and more Pics!

Have a great time, folks!

I took two photos last week, one of our set up after we'd been swimming (so cluttered with drying bathing suits - mine is the distant one that resembles a black sack!)

and the roof of the awning the morning after hubby had allowed the children to leave bread out for the locals:

The caravaner opposite us was out when we pitched up so sat outside with his paper the day we left, needless to say it was uneventful (other than hubby breaking the claw hammer) as we know what we are doing. Hubby was tempted to go shake his hand before we left as he would have done the same

Nice start, Tynx!

I've never (knowingly) been watched, when pitching or striking, but I (indeed, WE) are so absolutely brilliant at it now, (Organised, easy pace, relaxed and calm atmosphere, hi fives and hugs, stress free etc) and sooo confident... you just know that when we do actually get watched, it will all go ti*s up!

PS:
Can someone in authoritah tidy up the thread title, please?... no idea where that s & a came from, on the end!

Cheers.

I'm just back from my first trip of the year (and my first time as the only adult with my three children, so had to do all the driving & thinking).

This is our tent with the bare minimum set up - it fitted in the boot of my Berlingo!:

[/IMG]

And this was the view from the tent in the evening:

It was great fun but I don't think I'll rush into doing non-EHU camping so early in the year. It was really cold at night!

Oh can't wait to see more. I'm hoping to check the icarus and test pitch the aura in the garden this weekend. I may camp out with my very excitable 2 yr old, already addicted to camping but never been grand daughter if she's willing lol

Will upload photos when we are done.
