Hi again, so after purchasing a kampa croyde 8 and booking our first night away this weekend in it, does anyone have any tips on putting this bad boy up? I read somewhere that people said to ignore the instructions provided but I haven't found any alternatives elsewhere, thanks again in advance Dave.

Try searching you tube, we found a great video how to pitch a tunnel tent, followed it and it worked very well. There are loads of videos for tent pitching on there.

Cheers Wibsey, had a quick look on there but couldn't find a croyde, suppose the techniques pretty much the same.

We put ours up using the now-famous Cross Camping method - it's so much easier than putting all the poles in and pulling because you're working with the tent rather than against it.

The youtube video shows a Kampa Filey but it's exactly the same theory. It even works with fibreglass poles - my 12 year old daughter & I used it to pitch our Kampa Oxwich singlehandedly (despite my user name, I'm a short & unfit woman, not a bear). Enjoy your tent, we love ours!

Look no further than the Legend that is Gary the masked camping guru Cross of Cross Camping and his now infamous single handed pitching method YouTube video. Although the one for the Nevada M has a very scary man in it so should not be viewed by anyone of a nervous disposition.

You guys... That was my son and the tent was actually dead from to much sun. Tent diving is so funny but I only recommend professionals do this...
