So this video is not an air tent but it's just the same, just make sure the last roll is towards the open valves and all the doors are open.

Thanks Gary, that's exactly the way I used to pack my old Nebraska XL and pretty much had the tent in the bag first time every time. I get the feeling I'm going to miss having a wheeled bag but as long as I can park close to the pitch that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Just need a couple of dry days so I can do a test pitch now to check the tent over and make sure everything is there etc.

I don't suppose you would know if I need to register my tent with Kampa for warranty purposes do you? I didn't get much in the way of paperwork with it, only a receipt of purchase.

I would weatherproofing it too with natural rain or hosepipe, ours let some water in, but once sealed its fine. Look on the tent reviews and enjoy

Thanks Duffs54.

I have downloaded the manual and had thought about weathering the tent with a hosepipe. I may wait until the weather gets a bit more reliable though as I feel it may take a while to dry out properly with the current conditions.

Just to update an old thread for anyone that may be interested.

When delivered from the factory the tent may have fit in the boot of the XE but not once rolled and put back in the bag by a human due to the size of the hatch opening.

Luckily I have since changed my own car to a focus hatch which is almost made to measure for the tent bag with a little room for a couple of folding chairs. The handiholdall that gets recommended on here really came into its own and took most of the soft luggage while the spare seat in the car was used for things like the party grill and gas bottle.

Nice one, glad it all fits
