The best thing we have found about our burgundy coloured Karsten is that its blocks the early morning summer sun out, so much so our youngest who is normally up at 7am at the latest slept in till gone 9am while camping, haven't had so much sleep for over 7 years!

If I had to be negative/brutally honest, I would say this... It's too bloody late to be asking about colours now, as you've put your order in! LOL!
So stop worrying, and enjoy what you get, when you get it... as I'm certain you will.

I know but it was a snap decision as we couldn't agree. Just hope it was the right one

To be fair I made all decisions about what we were having, hubby just agreed them (not even sure he listened to all my explanations) the only thing he insisted on was a second EHU slot so we can feed electric into the awning. The only thing I didn't get my way with was the colour

I am sure we will love it

A second EHU slot? Presumably just around the corner from the standard, on the front?
Not the biggest problem in the world to feed an extension lead back out the slot and into the awning, tight in the bottom corner, where CA meets pod... but I have to say, adding the second slot seems to be so simple, but so practical! First time I've heard that mod mentioned.

We discussed this a few times, yes we could run a cable out and back in again or we could run it through the door. But if the tent is made to order why not have an extra point in the front to run the cable through.

Hmmm... Pretty much from the start, I've been folding/rolling my windows up like this...

Video...

Which is great of course, particularly that last "reverse roll" at the top, to keep it tidy and to avoid a pocket for the rain to collect in. But that initial point at the bottom is a bit floppy to start with, until the roll is formed.

But I do like the way he starts the fold in that new video though. By the time the initial folds are made, there's only a third of it that actually needs rolling, and presumably the curtain material is a bit more sturdy to start the actual rolling. Think I'll try that next time, but retain the final "reverse roll", of course.

Minor detail, but detail nonetheless. There's always something new to learn/try out!

Mucker, when you held your window covers open with poles, do you know how long the poles where?

I do remember I made them up on spec, from various spare/hardly ever used windbreak poles. Two sections per pole. I also remember one window cover being raised higher than the other, due to each pair of poles being different lengths.
I've since gathered 8 sections, to make 4 poles, bungee'd them together and lobbed them in the pole bag... although I've not used them again since!

Just been to the shed, and each pole (made from 2x sections) is totalling 119cm high, plus the spike.

Whether that is the height of the higher ones in my earlier pics on here (which I presume you are referring to?) or the lower ones, I've no idea. In fact, I've no idea why I had two different lengths back then, but have somehow managed to get 4 poles all the same now? I must have some more pole sections somewhere!

Anyway, whatever they were back then, 119cm is the best I can come up with now!

Purplebean, from my point of view as an onlooker with my nose pressed up against the window, I LOVE the dark blue. Really smart. It reminds me of when our parents took us on a Canvas Holidays trip to France and the tents were Cabanon frame tents in dark blue.

Your tent will be beautiful!

Excellent customer service from James. Decided I needed to change my order and he told me to ring to discuss it. I did so well after 8pm and he has convinced me to stick with what we originally planned.

It needs to arrive quick so I don't change my mind again

Might I suggest a slackening of the guy lines if it's gone red?
