Has anyone tried to put the front wall on inside out? I know the brand will be on the inside and the door the other side but this would also put the window cover on the inside which I like the idea of.

As we're not going to be using ours again until August and we're not going to be putting it up until then I'm thinking this may work but unsure if the zips will line up properly and is there a waterproof cover of sorts over the door zip? I'm thinking the (clean) mud flap would obviously be inside the tent but carpet could cover this or if the bottom zip doesn't match up it could be tucked under the groundsheet to seal the living area.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

IMHO, based on my experience with the Escala 4, it cannot be done as the zips cannot be zipped up due to mis-alignment.

The other problem will be with the window... with a mesh top any driven rain will blow through this and run down the back face of the cover and inside the tent.

Likewise, the clear plastic strips over the zips serve the same purpose; and won't work at keeping driven rain out if they're inside.
