Just returned from the beautiful Island of Anglesey. Had a week's holiday at Trearddur bay .Got four dry days till Thursday and Friday when It got very stormy and heavy rain . It seemed to be Ideal for the surfers ,with large waves and gale force winds .We toured around the Island all the well known places and it never ceases to amaze me the beauty of the Magical mysterious Island .So many gorgeous Beach's and villages and variety of places to visit .

Anglesey is a beautiful island, it's one of my favourite places and features heavily in my blog. I was there for ten days in July (had great weather) then went back for a day at August bank holiday (staying elsewhere in North Wales) specially to photograph Parys Mountain with the heather in full bloom. If you've never been there it's well worth going on a sunny day, the colours are amazing

Went to Cemaes for a day out .
Parked on the Harbour and checked out the lovely scenery and beachs .
Was approached by a person doing a survey of the area . we were asked the purpose of our visit ,we said a day out and have a swim and picnic on the beach .
Whilst in conversation it was disclosed that the water was polluted ,and signs where displayed stating that................ Which we checked out .
Well It was most off putting and told In great detail So It spoilt our day out . But It was lucky all was revealed to us .
As we would otherwise gone on the beach and gone for a swim .
And could have picked up some nasty debilitating bug .
So with that we left asap.
So please be aware If you are thinking of going for a visit .

Decided not to waste the rest of the afternoon ,drove round to Benllech and go on the lovely sandy beach and take in all the seaside views . went for a memory lane walk along the beach to St Davids park . Now Only a Caravan & motorhome site . All gone very posh and upmarket Pub / Restaurant private beach . No tents..........
Ah well we remember those halcyon days when you could just turn up and pitch your tent anywhere . Mostly on the headland with the gorgeous views of Red Wharf bay It had a great atmosphere very popular site then . All those lovely days camping walking along the sands down to the ship inn and sitting on the campsite beach it was like been abroad on a hot sunny day . And wakening up early morning and looking out at the sea mist and fog enshrouded bay until the warmth of the Sun burnt it off . And going around Benllech for visit and shopping . It was a great time for been in a tent and camping . Happy Memories ☺😀😃
