This could be useful as me and Mrs Quo are thinking of retiring early and living in a caravan with some part time work. You think of everything guys. Well done.

There are certainly worse jobs out there than being campsite wardens.

The missus and I are just coming to the end of the second season as Warden/Receptionist on a large 5* site in the Highlands.

It was a bit of a steep learning curve the first year but after the initial bedding in period - it's a dawdle. :)

We hope to have a change of venue for next year so applying for jobs all over the place at the moment.

If anyone knows of winter jobs I'd appreciate a nod in the right direction because we want to go see Russia during the summer if we can.

Ta muchly, Nightshifty.

My partner and I both found ourselves unemployed as a result of the recession and went camping at a lovely little site in Langworth near Lincoln. My partner got talking to the warden couple on the site so we decided that with our mix of skills from previous employment and our love of camping/caravanning it would be a great opportunity to start a new path in our lives.

For the past 6 months we have been living in our caravan and applying for all the available jobs. It has been quite an experience, a steep learning curve that has led us to discover that even with our mix of skills in landscape gardening and administration that many caravan park owners are not prepared to see past what they see as our "inexperience".

Mark and I are very friendly outgoing people who love to meet new people and we believe we have the exact skills required to fit into a holiday park staff team as a warden couple. We understand that given the choice of a couple with experience and us the odds are against us. However, we are left somewhat frustrated that we keep having interviews only to find we are pipped at the post with the position being given to someone experienced.

We are determined to keep on applying in the hope that someone will see past the veil of inexperience and see us as a couple with bags of life experience, motivation and no fear of hard work.

We are often told that people see caravanhn wardenning posts through rose tinted glasses. We arent wearing those glasses. We realise its very hard work but believe a new challenge is just what we need.

Caravan site owners obviously need to choose the right couple when they are searching for wardens. All we would like to ask for is that they look beyond "inexperience" and see what other skills we can bring.

My partner & myself are looking for some camp site work for summer of 2012. We both have campsite/warden experience and have looked for work on UK campsites but no luck as yet. If anyone could maybe point us in the right direction or if any of you who read this has a vacancy we would love to hear from you as getting quite desperate for something right now.

I'm looking for a job involving anything to do with camping weither it be on campsites or warehouse. I have not had any experience with campsite work but I am willing to learn. I have been in the motortrade for many years so I am now looking for something that involves working outdoors and meeting people and enjoying seeing the countryside. I also used to clean caravans for a living.

The areas I would like to work if possible is Skegness,  Mablethorpe,  or around those areas. Or Dorset.

Many thanks for you all taking time in reading my post.

We are a couple who have got to a point in our lives where we feel a change in direction is required after 20 years of self employment .We have a numerous skills between us and work well together or part of a team.
We would like a position on a naturist site in the UK or Europe for the 2015 season, short or long term considered.
If any naturist vacancies arise please feel free to consider us with salaries /details etc.
We would also consider a post for a non naturist adult only camp site Uk / Europe

Sunkist .
