I've just had to cancel our trip away as my youngest son is ill so I thought I'd post on here just in case anyone is trying to find a last minute site for the weekend.
Its Centenary Way in Filey Tent pitch with electric.Im gutted as I've always wanted to go to that site but can't be going with poorly ones so hopefully someone here can benefit.

Might be a blessing in disguise fisicoll. We have stayed at Centenary Way for the last 2 weekends and the site has suffered terribly with the torrential rain storms. The owners were not able to use many of the pitches because they were so waterlogged and the tent field was totally empty. We came home on Monday which wasn't a bad day but Sunday was horrendous. I had a pj day, never stepped foot out of the caravan because it just didn't stop raining & it had rained all Saturday night too. The owners were dreading this B/H weekend because they were fully booked and didn't know if they would be able to accommodate everybody if the pitches hadn't recovered. Hope your Son gets well soon. Denise.

Oh thank you that's made me feel so much better. I'm sat here looking at the sunshine wishing we could have been there but you're right about the mud as our back garden is like a quagmire and that hasn't had people driving or trudging all over it!

Yes the weather has been really bad for the last week and i dont think its going to improve .
Our 5 nights changed to 4 as the rain never stopped, i know the weather should not stop you going but it makes it harder especially if you have kids and dogs i have the dog and he still needs to go out.
The sites must be out of pocket as i people will not turn up in this weather .
Lets hope for dry weather asap.
