Welcome to the madhouse. A few people on here do winter camping. I am planning to Beddgelert FH, when I have the rear arm sorted on my car. The only thing is, they don't allow fires.
I can't think of hand any sites which allow fires.
Out of interest, which part of Wales
are you thinking of.

I have booked my car into the garage for repairs. ThenStart saving again. I am looking at a cheapish site during term term time.
I have only camped once this year. Very, very bad. My son does not intend to go camping with me.

He has decided to go with his friends, next year, which will be very interesting, he will be 16 yrs. They have not learnt the logostics, as I have done all the donkey work.

He will have to learn to put up his own tent.     haha

He does have his own tent. He can practice.
We'll DS said he wanted to be independent.

There's a site just outside Dolgellau which allows fires on the river bank. I can't remember the name but it shouldn't be hard to find in the search.

Shell Island allows campfires if raised off floor. We have just come back from a fantastic weekend there. They had an Octoberfest . Next weekend is Bikefest and the following weekend is halloween and fireworks .

There is a great long list of campsites in Wales that allow campfires here

You just have to scroll down to the bottom of the page for Wales. Or come to Lady Heyes for New Year's Eve!

Hi everyone We're also trying to find somewhere for this New Years (leaving it really late I know!) I tried to book at Lady Heyes but they're fully booked!
I know of one or two camp sites that are open all year round and allow camp fires but does anyone know of one with any celebrations??
Any advice greatly appreciated!!

Are you in a caravan?   When the 3 of us booked the tent field was empty.
