Hi all
Thinking of next years holiday and thought we would book early.

We had a great time in Dorset this year and want to go back.

Stayed at norden farm not bad but very busy so looking for alternatives

So Dorset, near the beach good facilities shop showers ehu etc.

And must take dogs and children

Try bagwell farm or west fleet farm about 3 miles from Weymouth but both lovely sites.

West Fleet Farm is lovely but you can't swim in the sea there because of the currents (I think)
there is a heated pool on site but I imagine it would get quite busy in the holiday season

Would recommend Woodyhyde down near Swanage: great for kids & dogs and great location. Search for reviews

If you are going peak July August any good site in Dorset will be very busy. Dorset was the west country best kept secret but word is getting out.

Norden Farm is our most favourite site to be honest but Freshwater is good (no sea swimming due to the steeply shleving beach), Woodyhide is good also. not yet mentioned but often recommended is Wareham forest. I uderstand Newlands Park at Charmouth comes recommended also.

Anywhere in Dorset near the coast is lovely - we live in Dorset and there is lots to see and do. Best beaches are near Bournemouth and along studland - lovely and sandy. The isle of purbecks is fantastic scenery wise. Swanage, Lyme Regis and Weymouth (a bit more touristy) are lovely seaside towns.
Hope you find somewhere lovely - please report back as always looking for somewhere local.

Friends of ours use Ullwell cottage in Swanage regularly and love it.

West fleet farm is great -not sure if you have kids but really geared up with heated pool- and it. Is heated so warm even on the coldest days and nic splay areas and a great new clubhouse and families
There sister site Sea barnhart views to die for and is a bit quiter and has the added bonus of you can use west fleets pool and bar etc-it's about a mile down a track between them

Wilksworth Farm is becoming very popular . It's Wimborne area, 10 minutes from Poole and sandbanks beach. It also has a pool on site.

South Lytchett Manor is a really nice site just outside Poole. Good for dogs as they have a field which you can let your dog off the lead.

Hi we stay in sandford its a great site loads of facilities, very friendly staff near every thing. I have a seasional pitch there. Tracey and her team are really friendly.

Shamba at St Leonards, Merley Court, or Wareham Forest are all first class.
Occasionally stay at Shamba , although we live just a few miles away !
