We are on a site in Carlisle, takes us about 1 hr 40 mins to get there, but we don't go fast, helps with fuel! but once there nothing to do, except plug in and put the kettle on. We pay £950 a year, electric is extra, they also have storage for the winter which is £160.
We got to the point in our last storage place, that it was such a pain to get to down a real pot holey track that it took ages to get up n down it and we're paying over £400 for that, we weren't using the van much.
So we figured to get away from that, seasonal was the way to go, but we can a,so go off site for main holidays too!
This was our first year and we hope to get pitch for next year too, the travelling hasn't put us off, as we aren't hitching and unhitching and taking an hour before you even get going anywhere, it's been great for us!
2016 Season (got van in July)
3 nights Greenacres, Carlisle
2 nights The Ashes, Kendal
10 nights Brylea, Lancashire
