I have got the induction hob ( bargain from Aldi ) but I'm struggling to find the pans to go with it...I've found a set on ebay (new) for £14:99 fry pan £7:99 plus postage all others I've seen are very expensive, has anyone seen them anywhere else reasonably priced Didn't want to go mad as they will only get used when camping. Thanks in anticipation.

Not really an answer to your question, but pans for an induction hob don't have to be expensive, as they can be made from the cheapest steel ie normal mild carbon steel. They only become expensive when the manufactures start putting tri compond bases on the pans ie copper, alloys, stainless steel, none of these will work on an induction so they then add a layer of mild carbon steel, all extra cost.

Basicly head down to the market with a magnet, any pan which the magnet will stick to will work on your hob, cheaper the better.

As I've told my psychiatrist, you can't have too many tents.

I have just bought a set of two from Lidl for £8.99from£11.99 They haven't got lids but I use the splatter lids which I find are better as they have vents for steam. Also 3yrs warranty.

Yep.

I can second the 2 pan set from Lidl, good value at £9 also got a large deep Frying pan from Wilkinsons back in 2010 for £12 nothing special about an induction hob pans, the base just has to be inductive.

We bought a set of three from IKEA, £5.99, they are light and easy to clean. I would highly recommend them.

I believe the MSR stainless steel Alpine Stowaway saucepans are suitable for induction hops.

I also have the £5.99 pan set from Ikea (after someone kindly recommended it on here). They do the job nicely and we dismantle them for transportation and it is a 2 second job to put the handles back on.

I kept a fridge magnet in my bag to make sure I picked up the correct set! As already mentioned, if a magnet sticks to it then it will do the job.

I bought a couple of Alpine Stowaway pans yesterday, and can confirm they pass the magnet test.
