just a quickie, anybody tried these

awning plates before ? if so do they work ,would you recommend them.

to be honest 1st time I've seen them , think i'm gunna be trying some next season

I have seen these and a colleague uses a set. They are designed primarily for the canopy/roll-out type awnings that usually stay fixed to the side of the van, such as the Fiamma Caravanstore. The plate provides a larger footprint for the foot on these type of awning poles, but that's just about it.

I have a Caravanstore and have never felt that these would be of any great benefit.
