My friend told me yesterday that they're coming up in Lidl.
She might have said starting on the 10th May?

I'll go and check for you....hang on....

Hmmm. I can't see anything on Lidls website, but she definitely mentioned them.

I checked Aldi as well, but still can't see anything.

Aldi have more camping stuff coming up on the 22nd of May. No SIMs advertised yet, but camp beds, gas cookers and sleeping bags.

My local Tesco are selling them...9.99 I think. They are also selling foam mats, picnic rugs (7.99), and fleece blankets all at similar prices.

SIM = Self Inflating Mat

If you haven't come across them before they are basically foam mats enclosed in a casing with an air valve at one end. If you open the valve and roll it up tight all the air escapes. You then close the valve and it stays rolled up. When you want to use it again you open the valve and air is sucked inside (self inflates) until the foam is fully impregnated with air again. You then close the valve to stop any air escaping when you lay on it. You can inflate them harder if you wish by blowing air into the valve by mouth.

They come in different thicknesses and prices. Usually the thicker they are the more expensive they are.
