I have a 2015 Dometic cassette toilet with a collapsible pull along handle. Trouble is,it won't. It will extend for pulling but pressing the button in the centre of the handle will not allow it to retract. I have to press the extending spring loaded pins along the handle to shut it for stowage. Any ideas?

Try a bit of WD40 on the spring loaded pins and anywhere else that you can squirt it in the handle mechanism. If you haven't got any WD40, try a bit of washing up liquid.

Maybe a bit of extra pressure beyond a push with your fingers. I'm thinking maybe some mole grips or an adjustable spanner. If the handle is thin enough, pliers may do it.
