Have decided we would like to spend a couple of weeks on Ile de Rey. Wondered what people think is the best site. We have 8 metre twin axle so have to consider this. Camping L'Ocean seems to be favorite currently but I'd be interested to know if anyone feels there is better. We are family of with two kids 4 & 7 but whilst pool and play area is great , organized activities are not a high priority.

We stayed at La Grainetiere last year and very much liked it. I've been meaning to do a review ever since but don't think I ever got round to it - will try to have a go this week. We were there at the very start of the season, everything was very chilled and friendly (though the Ile de Re seemed to be pretty much half closed at Easter). The pool was lovely, facilities clean and the owners very friendly and helpful - and it was extremely good value for money, esp using the ACSI card :-)

Stuart - could I be really cheeky and ask for a copy of your list too please. We are first timers to camping in Europe (well haven't actually booked yet but hope to be)and this was the area that we have been looking at.
It it's ok I'll email you. Many thanks.
