Yes they can be used at a manned booth, but surely you would only go down that road, so to speak, if you discovered it was faulty.

Hi blueexpo97

So now you are giving me another reason why not to get a TAG from saneftollingUK, they issue TAG's that do not work!

No wonder I call saneftollingUK cowboys!

So glad that my TAG came from Bip&Go (SANEF) in France, at least a Bip&Go TAG works first time and every time.

The Liber-t is the TAG mechanism which I thought is the same for all of the companies that use that system.

Anyway at what point during the 30kmh run in to the auto booth do you decide you have to slam the brakes on because you haven't heard the beep?

Andy, it did work after the first refusal, a visit to the shop at the toll plaza sorted it. So no cowboys were involved.

But you just had to say it, didn't you. Remember I told you about slander before

I think any tag - faulty or not - can be used manually at a manned booth but that kind of defeats the object of having one especially if you go at a busy time of year.

When was the last time you saw a manned booth?

not in the last few years I think

No problem blueexpo97.
Fact is the your saneftollingUK TAG failed at the most crucial moment.

Another Fact is that the saneftollingUK TAG is the most expensive way to have a TAG for use on the French autoroutes.

And the final Fact is that saneftollingUK is the only French autoroute TAG operator that does not allow payment by a Credit Card.

Definitely not a company I would entrust with my Bank account number and Sort Code!

By now blueexpo97, you must know that I am all tongue in cheek.

At the end of the day, who cares what TAG we all use, you make your choice and pays yer money.

But why did they not make the TAG so it takes a regular AAA battery instead of an embedded Button Cell.

Only the French.
