The DT IS 15,190 so quite an increase but still good value really if you put them in comparison to similar caravans on the market.

Not saying I hate it I just think I prefer the lighter colours, but that's probably because it's what we have.
Perhaps I'm secretly trying to find away to not spend any more money !

If I was looking to upgrade to a newer van (I'm not) I'm sure I wouldn't have any problems with the interior, and would probably grow to like it.

Still think the 542 DT & DK are great vans.

Even more of a reason for me to not spend any more money!
Think I will stick with our 2011 for now

HIYA Shelleybobs (((Waves))) and more (((waves))) there was absolutely no need for us to have worried about any updates/changes on these 2014's, everything is pretty much the same its just the DT comes in 2 versions now. The 7 berth will cost a little bit more, which is only to be expected. I do have the Adria price lists which i picked up from the Adria stand which shows each caravan price together with the Packs and extra's you can add on all the range Altea/Adora/Astella....and yes they have gone up. I do love the new decals on the Sportline 2014's and i do actually prefer the darker blacks/grey upholstery, but we also love our own one to. Unfortunatly you can't stop yearly updates no matter when or what caravan you purchase LOL! With regards to the antenna, we had the choice at the time of purchasing our caravan of either them fitting one on top or have the satellite dish, hubby wanted the dish so to it makes no difference to our current van at all LOL and as regards to the larger heki roof light, again we had wanted it put in at the time of purchase, its just that we had spent soooooo much on other things we couldn't really let go of that amount at that time. That's not to say we won't get it done at a later date as seeing the extra light coming in through it and the fact that it lifts up and out, making it more like other Makes/Models is really nice. The great thing about the Sportline is that it comes with most things now as standard including the Electric heating element that many Altea owners/potential owners used to think was a nuisance, so that's great and the antenna being added as standard is great too. Have noticed though that they have changed the material on the bunk beds, they seem more robust. Sportline only, the Altea's are the same. The great things was that Venture caravans was next door to the Adria stand So no our bathroom hasn't changed, nor has any lighting within the van! Have just read Adria's write up on the Adria and it states that "they left the Altea's relatively unchanged on the 2014, so you'll still find all the features that caravanners have loved over the years" Just new interior furnishings and new graphics. They do mention a new Led awning light, but its the same as ours so most likely a typo!

Word on the street is that 2015 could bring a change in the Altea, but this could also mean an increase in weight. I'm glad we purchased our 2013 sportline and have certainly been making the most of it. Son loved his summer holidays in it and we will be back down in it during the up and coming half term. As said many times i wish we had purchased a caravan years ago! If we were purchasing now, you can bet it would be eiher the 2014 or the 2013 or 2012 or 2011 etc etc Sportline as we love them! No need to go buy another van as its all the same inside and i love the Altea's and the Sportlines!! Great for those looking for a caravan though.....would love to see more of them on the road!! For us who already own one, the price increase in the new one's will help keep up our own van's value!

Am assuming thats the price for the Sportline, i do get confused lol. I agree i think its now in line with other makes/models of its type and the fact they have added those fixes makes it a very good choice.

Hi all, just adding a link here for you to check out the new Adria Sportline 2014 models pictures that we took at the show on Saturday. We had a lovely day and Venture Caravans were so welcoming. Please respect the fact that these photos aren't all perfect. I was up against massive amounts of artificial light coming from not only the caravans own lighting, but also from the Exhibition center and the neigbouring other stands. Was trying to move to different areas in the caravans to try to avoid the yellow lights which also clashed with the white lights and so fourth, ugh, hard work. Not only that you have shadows coming from all directions. I know on one of the external photos the side of one of the vans was next to another stand that had 6ft wall partitions and boy did that cast a shadow...it made the lower half of the caravan cream heehee! So please bear this in mind. I have a renewed respect for photographers, let me tell you! The best way to view all caravans is outside in natural light, some caravan brands we went into seemed dark, but new that this was most likely down to the fact that you have a number of caravans and motorhomes in very close proximity to each other, shadows casting down from them and other structures, not to mention all the various lighting! So if you went to the show and felt any darkness at all in a van, but really liked a particular brand/model, don't count it out, go see it in natural light!

You'll also find a few Altea upholstery piccies as well as some piccies of the Adria Axcess caravan! Hope you like as had spent all last evening editing and uploading them! Oh and for those with interest of the Altea/Adora/Astella 2014, you may like to know that the Adria website UK now have their 2014 brochures/Specs etc available to view or for download, not to mention online info/photo's....click this link for that!

Adria UK 2014 Atea/Adora/Astella

Keep an eye on Venture caravans website for their own update on the sportline models that will no doubt be updated very soon! You'll be able to download the Sportlines brochure and spec sheet from them. Venture do all but one of the Adria range! Its only the Axcess they don't do! Bailey brand caravans is also their specialty!! Very good dealer in our eyes!

Adria Sportline 2014

Easy to find these links here on page 10 LOL! And yes Appleby10 agree with all you say. Caravans are like most things these days, they change year to year. So why bother putting off a purchase and missing out on potential fun times and happiness! Am glad we have purchased ours when we did, we would not of had the wonderful moments/memories that we've enjoyed in her up to now! And here's to more of them!! Just love everyone coming into these Adria threads and giving us updates, especially yourself Appleby10 keeps us in the Adria loop regardless the age of our van's! They are all fab!! Not only that i've enjoyed reading and checking out your updates, we've done a few of them already now ourselves

It is interesting they now have the 2 bunk dt. Gives you a great choice in layouts for 5/6 births now!

We've recently bought the 2014 2 bunk DT...I love the interior, it's really modern looking...the lift up table on the sportline is sort of a grey-beigey colour...it's nice and matches the carpet...but it is such a personal thing - maybe they should have options like you do when buying a car.

Having our first trip out in it this coming weekend...looking forwad to it and hope it lives up to expectations!

Congratulations on your new van Veema. You'll love it. The Adria caravan owners club is getting bigger and bigger! We pick our dt up on Saturday as Venture have it this week for its first service.   We will spend Saturday night at harbury fields, but off next Wednesday to Whitby for 4 nights. We've used it loads in the year we've had it - Yorkshire Coast, Lake District, Cornwall, Norfolk broads and Derbyshire dales! seen a few Adrias on our travels, but not many. Next year we are thinking of going to Brittany with it.

Welcome to the Adria family Veema hope you love it as much as we all love ours!

Appleby, won't be in ours at half term. Wasn't looking promising till new year. We've got 5 nights booked............ However, plans are being made for 1st weekend in November

Andyfisher, where in Brittany? We have booked our ferry for next year. Doing a week near mont st Michel then a few days near calais before home, can't wait

Not yet decided still researching sites! Looking at South Brittany, perhaps le letty or the two fountains or l'orangerie-de-lanniron or le Ty Nadan.   The more I look the more confused I get!   Thinking of a long crossing to roscoff or st Malo. Quite expensive overnight with cabins though. I saw a thread in here that people stay in their caravans overnight at Plymouth and roscoff and take an early morning ferry which may be cheaper. Being in north yorks means it is quite a drive to get to the ferry ports in the first place.    Bit nervous about towing in France, even though I have driven over there on two holidays in the past.

We had a look at them when we at Venture on Saturday to pick up our van after it's 1st service.   Not sure why we looked really as we weren't buying! They're very nice though.
