Win a Weeks Stay at Blue Bell Pond Certificated Site!

Set in a beautiful part of the country on the edge of the Spurn Point peninsula, which is a haven for walking and cycling surrounded by wildlife from land sea and sky, this is an ideal peace and quiet getaway.

A small friendly open site with views of the Spurn lighthouse and Humber estuary where you can see the ships sail by or watch wild deer in the meadow adjacent.

I really appreciate all that this website does.
It's my go-to website whenever I'm thinking of going away, when I want to know something about camping or read some jokes on the forum.
I'm also really grateful for the efforts you must go to in arranging competition prizes and negotiating the deals you do.

However, this competition saddens me.
As well as being, to my mind, in clear breach of age discrimination legislation it is unnecessarily so. I can't find their tariff on their website but presumably a week's rate out of season is the same as less than a week during school holidays.
If there was flexibility to choose a full week out of season or a shorter week in season, then surely there's no difference in cost to the generous campsite owners (who are graciously providing this competition prize) and everyone would be happier!

No, it's not, according to their website: "THE FOLLOWING PRICES ARE FOR 2013. ALL PRICES ARE NOW AS FOLLOWS... All at a fixed season rate, no high low or Christmas rates , tent camping pitches starting from 12 a night and caravan / motorhome pitches from 14 ( non electric). Awnings 1 per night. Electric hook up 2 per night."

The school holiday exclusion for the prize is common to many holiday prizes, and the current three-nights-for-two offer includes half-term week (in much of England at least).

Why not enter the competition anyway, and if you are lucky enough to win, just go for the weekend rather than the full week?

Thanks Hacksaw Bob - I did look through their website, but obviously not hard enough.
I like them even more now for that.

MissElaineous - bit of a long way, for just a weekend.
But could do for a more local site, point taken.
