I recently inherited the boat with RM 212 3 way fridge.
Because it is still cold I didn't started it, but I may want to use it in the middle of the summer.

Can I trespass on your kindness and receive a copy of the manual as well?

jakubuk at yahoo.co.uk

Thanks!

It's on the way to you now.

Hi, I've just bought a VW Transporter Trident c1993.

The RM212 3-way fridge has a dodgy igniter switch for the gas. When the light flashes and the clicking sound is there it will light the gas but the clicking and flashing doesn't always happen when I press the switch. When i give it a firm 'tap' with the end of a screwdriver it starts but a normal switch action doesn't always work. Am I safe to assume it is switch and not the igniter?

Also, I have pulled the top front plate off to reveal the back of the switch but I can't get the fridge to slide forward to get fingers on the back of the switch.I have removed all the sealant around the edge but can't see any screws holding the fridge in place either.

Any ideas anyone? Is it worthwhile getting a manual?

Thanx, Zanna

Hi, I'm new to this site as well and have the same problem with my Electrolux RM212 fridge as many of you. It wont work, actually it does but only on mains electric which doesn't help when you in the middle of a field with no electric. I didn't get a manual for it with the caravan so would be most gratefull if someone could e-mail me a copy.

Many thanks

Rose

hi Wizard,

Thank you for the manual, I'll now study it and see if I can see where I've gone wrong.
