We have been looking for taller airbeds for a few weeks now and were resigned to paying around £40 mark ( i have arthritis in my spine and getting up is litterlry a real pain!) any way went to Asda last night had a quick look at the camping shelve's whopee £9.97 for big airbeds! 50cm high or 19 1/2in in real money Happy days!

Hi sxis
I am sure you would expect me to say this being a camping retailer but have you thought why you might be paying £10.00 and not £40.00.
I have stood in the centre of the Coleman high airbed and anyone who knows me will tell you im no light weight, the airbed only sank in a few inches and stayed very stable. The support you get with the higher priced airbeds overall is far better.
I can stock a single airbed for £5.00 and make a couple of quid but I just will not sell them as I do not think they support you. Possible ok for the kids but thats about it.
I really hope that the Asda airbed is great and it works out fine for you and your arthritic back. You must let us know how good it is.

We have cheap Tesco airbeds , & they are really comfortable , more so then our bed , niether of us is a light weight ,& they are very supportive. We've also used them for sleepovers .
So i'd say, go for it , why pay more then you have to .
