Yeomans Camping Shows 2013

At each Yeomans camping show you will find up to 100 tents on display from various manufacturers giving you the chance to view hands-on each tent up close and personal, allowing you to make an informed decision with regards to the tent and how it may serve you. In addition to the substantial display of tents, there will also be an on-site marquee jam packed with a whole array of camping equipment. Camping Exhibition, Codicote, Hertfordshire

The Codicote Camping and Caravanning Exhibition, held in Hertfordshire just 5 mins from the A1M, offers a massive range of tents, trailer tents and accessories. Including some major brands, check out the tents on display and wander around them at your convenience. Opening times: Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. and Saturday to Sunday 09:30am to 5:30 pm. The Black Combe Walking Festival 2013

Join us for nine days of guided walks and talks at the gateway to the Western Lake District. From Wainwrights summits and valley explorations to coastal rambles and nature trails, our walks are led by local volunteers keen to share their enthusiasm and knowledge of this beautiful corner of Cumbria. Boswell Book Festival

The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival 2013

Launched in 2005, The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival is amongst the largest of its kind in England. This will be our biggest festival to date, with just over 100 walks available and equating to around 540 miles of walking. Our walks range from gentle one mile strolls on flat terrain (accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs), to energetic day-long treks up to 20 miles in length. For the really ambitious we even offer a 36 mile walk, over two days with an overnight stop in-between! Click here for the link for this event

Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival 2013

The 2013 Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival will be held at various venues within Beverley. Guest artists will include the Renaissance vocal ensemble Gallicantus directed by Gabriel Crouch, the acclaimed harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock and the ever entertaining Carnival Band with highlights including a large-scale education project featuring the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the University of York Baroque Ensemble and Chamber Choir and pupils from Beverley Grammar School. Ryedale Folk Weekend 2013

The Ryedale Folk Weekend takes place over the bank holiday weekend and you can expect to find a Ceilidh, workshops, musicians’ sessions, singarounds, traditional dance, music, song, education,visual art, drama, local producers and folk crafts. The festival is based at the New Inn and Cropton Brewery, near Pickering, North Yorskhire which has a capacity of 2,000. Ingleton Overground Underground Festival 2013

The Overground Underground Festival offers an unexpected take on the hills and dales around Ingleborough, Yorkshire Dales. There is lots to try and experience for all ages. Yorkshire Dales Gaping Gill Winch Meet 2013

25/05/2013 to 31/05/2013

Situated on the SW slopes of Ingleborough at an altitude of 1300ft (400m) above sea level, Fell Beck ends its meandering course abruptly, & plunges 330ft(100m) down into the limestone plateau creating Britain’s highest unbroken waterfall. It lands on the floor of Gaping Gill, the largest cavern in Britain. The Bradford Pothole Club has held a Winch Meet here for over 50 years, allowing members of the public and non-cavers the chance to visit this truly awe-inspiring underground scene.
