   Blenheim Palace Battle Proms 12/07/2014 to 12/07/2014  
This will be the 10th year that Blenheim Palace has hosted the Battle Proms Picnic Concert in its stunning grounds which include 2100 acres of formal gardens and ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland. Home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, Blenheim Palace is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, a World Heritage Site.

  Clogfest! 2014 12/07/2014 to 13/07/2014  
Clogfest is a celebration of traditional English step-dance. Dancers and musicians from all over England gather in Skipton, North Yorkshire, to show off their regional dance styles and colourful costumes. They perform around Skipton town centre on Saturday 12 July with a grand finale at the canal basin around 2:15. On Sunday 13 July they perform in the grounds of Skipton Castle. The weekend also includes a ceilidh and a musicians session

  The Driffield Show 2014 16/07/2014 to 16/07/2014  
The 139th Driffield Agricultural Show will be Yorkshire’s largest one-day agricultural show. As many as 30,000 visitors will be expected. The Show combines the finest of East Yorkshire’s agricultural heritage whilst embracing new developments. Whether its livestock, dog shows, heavy horses or freestyle motocross riders the Show has it all!! There are hundreds of exhibits, live entertainment and much more!! A great family day out!

The Hebridean Celtic Festival which is staged in Stornoway, has announced Runrig, Afro Celt Sound System, Imelda May, Julie Fowlis, Treacherous Orchestra, Adrian Edmondson and the Bad Shepherds, Blazin’ Fiddles, Breabach, Iain Morrison, The Fox Hunt, and The Poozies amongst the performers it will be hosting.

  The Free Upton Blues Festival 18/07/2014 to 20/07/2014  
Over the three days of the Festival we have booked some cracking bands and will be performing around the town on all of the stages from 7.30pm till 11pm on the Friday night and noon till 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.

  Weeting Steam Engine Rally And Country Show 18/07/2014 to 20/07/2014  
If you are looking for a fascinating and nostalgic family day out, look no further than the Weeting Steam Engine Rally and Country Show. It is sure to appeal to the whole family.

Held annually the third weekend in July, the Rally features trade and craft stalls, working demonstrations, vintage vehicles, a miniature steam railway, childrens entertainment, restaurant and bars.

  Penn Festival 18/07/2014 to 20/07/2014  
We will have some top headline acts on the main stage and exciting new, up and coming acts on the second big top tent stage - around 40 bands over the 3 days. We've got free creative activities for kids and a free circus skills workshop in the kids zone to keep the little ones busy and entertained. We'll have fine food from fabulous local caterers and street food vendors and a bar with a full range of beers and wines. We have a disco in the bar tent for those who just don't want the party to end.

Why not enjoy the outdoors and come camp in the beautiful grounds for the weekend - we even have free hot power showers for all in the campsite!

  Withernsea Steam Rally and Summer Parade 2014 19/07/2014 to 20/07/2014  
Come and join us in Withernsea, East Yorkshire, at our annual Steam Rally. There will be two days of our Steam Rally with a parade of steam engines at 2pm on Saturday 19th through Withernsea. Viewing is available most of the weekend with a static display in the Memorial car park on Pier Road, of various miniature and full size engines - a must for steam engine enthusiasts and fun for all the family.
