We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and friendly couple to join our team of Campsite Managers to run the Bracelands Camping in the Forest site located in the Forest of Dean. The role will begin in early 2016 and the site is open year round.
Bracelands is a large, open site situated near to the towns of Coleford and Monmouth. The site is popular with campers wishing to walk and cycle in the area and is within easy reach of Symonds Yat and the River Wye. The site was upgraded during the winter of 2013/14 and has 130 electrical hook ups and three toilet and shower blocks. The site accommodates Duke of Edinburgh groups on a regular basis and is very busy during high season.
We are ideally looking for a couple with a positive, pro active and self motivated approach who are fit, hardworking and practical. You will need to be commercially minded and have experience of driving improved business performance. You will enjoy meeting new people and have a strong desire to provide customers with a great holiday experience. Experience of managing a campsite is essential.
In addition to delivering a great holiday experience your responsibilities will cover the day to day operation and maintenance of the campsite together with managing a team of 8 Site Assistants. Experience of managing people and motivating a team is required. You will need to be prepared to be hands on and flexible with your day to day routine and hours of work.
You must have your own caravan or motorhome and hold a full UK driving licence. We will expect you to live on site for the duration of your contract. In return we offer a competitive salary together with a free pitch with electricity for your unit.

Job Vacancy - Warden Couple - Seasonal
Due to retirements, we are looking for a couple to join us, as wardens, for the 2016 season. The role starts in mid March 2016 and continues through to mid September 2016, with the potential for weekend work until the end of October.
We are looking for a positive, friendly, pro-active and self motivated couple, who are enthusiastic, fit, hardworking and practical. Duties will include general office work, processing pitch bookings and meeting and greeting guests. Candidates must be computer literate with good IT skills. There is also ongoing general site maintenance to be carried out (i.e. ground care on site, grass cutting and rubbish collection), as well as the daily cleaning of our new amenity block. To this end applicants should have an understanding of DIY, plumbing and electrical work. Previous experience would be preferable, but the main skills are a genuine enjoyment of meeting people in conjunction with extremely good customer skills including tact, patience and courtesy.
The role will be resident on site for the season, working Wednesdays through to Sundays and includes Bank holidays (Mondays). Salary to be discussed. Please note this position will be on a self-employed basis.
In addition, we offer a free fully serviced pitch for your touring caravan/motorhome, for the season, as well as use of our onsite facilities (free Wi-Fi, washing machine).

Laneside Caravan Park is a popular well run family site in the picturesque location of Hope in the Hope Valley Derbyshire. We are looking for a fit mature couple to join our close knit team on a long term basis as caravan park wardens. Applicants will need to have a positive, friendly, pro-active and self-motivated attitude with an ‘everyone muck in and ‘can do mentality. We do get very busy in high season so coping well under pressure is a must. A couple who have worked together before would be ideal but this is not essential. Also an interest in caravanning with your own caravan would be preferable. A fully serviced park home is provided and pets are welcome but no more than 2 dogs. The position is Friday - Sunday low season and Thursday - Sunday high season as well as additional holiday cover. This includes all bank holiday weekends. Our season is from early March to early November.
Duties will include:
Office & shop work
Booking in customers so basic IT skills are needed
Cleaning facilities to a high standard
Experience of maintenance such as plumbing or handy man work would be desirable
Keeping up the high standards on site such as gardening and assisting our grounds man
Experience towing a caravan so a Current UK driving licence (for at least one of the applicants)
Dealing with customers face to face with a friendly and professional manner
The ability to deal with telephone bookings and enquires in a friendly and professional manner
Caravan knowledge in general
Trust worthy and reliable
Proactive and hard working
We have been a family run business since the 50s and we are the 3rd generation to run Laneside. Our 3 previous pairs of wardens have worked for us for multiple seasons and we are hoping to find another couple to do the same. It is a very friendly and fun atmosphere and we will work closely together. Please note this position will be on a self-employed basis. Salary to be discussed.
