Duties would include meeting, greeting and showing our customers to their pitches. Taking bookings,cleaning our toilet block,light ground maintenance and site supervision, to include late arrivals and emergencies.
Hardstand seasonal pitch free of charge to the end of October, included in this would be connected water, gas and 16amp electric. Friendly dog welcome too!
Days/hours will vary dependant on the time of year but will include busy bank holidays/school holidays.
Askham Bryan is situated just 3 miles short of York city centre, with bus services running daily. There will of course be lots of free time to enjoy our park and its surroundings.

Hours may vary on time of the year also. As you can understand a Wardens job is not a 9 to 5 job we pride ourselves on our customer care and attention to detail this cannot be achieved with a 9 to 5 attitude.
Successful applicant must have a high resolve for customer care
You must be time flexible and work well in a team. We would prefer someone with previous caravan park knowledge and be computer literate.
There is accommodation which is provided with reasonable gas, water and electric usage. The accommodation comes with the job in lieu for on call duties
The vacancy is open to anyone however you must hold a current UK drivers licence.

Duties to include site maintenance, cleaning, basic animal care, some reception and administration on our managers two days off. The working shifts are based on 5 days (inc Bank holidays and weekends) and the salary is based on a seasonal average of around 35 hours per couple per week.
Seasonal contract 1st March 2016 through to the 31st October 2016, we may be able to offer an earlier start date.

Part Time Site Assistant Couple Required
We are looking for a part time couple to join our team at Springhill Farm Holiday Accommodation, Seahouses, Northumberland. Our accommodation comprises of self-catering holiday cottages, bunkhouse, wigwams, hides and caravan and camping site.
The part time position will start from mid March 2016 through to end September 2015. You will be working with our full time site wardens and housekeeping staff. The part time position entails:
• Cleaning of accommodation and communal areas on site
• General site maintenance, ground keeping and gardening
• Occasional reception cover - taking bookings through our online booking system, answering emails and telephone calls
• Site warden cover on their days off
Applicants must be in good health and be fit and able to undertake manual tasks. Must work well under pressure, have a high standard of cleanliness and good customer service skills. Have a ready smile and be happy to tactfully deal with any problems that come their way. A willingness to learn, enthusiasm, flexibility and a sense of humour are equally important. All applicants must have a full driving licence and be computer literate.
Part time working hours will be varied although please be aware you will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays. We require a commitment to stay for the whole season.
Your own caravan/motorhome is required - hardstanding touring pitch, site fees and electricity, on site washing and laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are included within in salary.
The position offer a set monthly salary of £500 per person based on seasonal annualised hours.

Applicants are required to deliver excellent customer service coupled with the ability to take a leading role with the bar, kitchen and waiting team. 8. Supporting and helping colleagues, particularly bar & waiting staff, to deliver an efficient, effective and friendly service to guests and visitors.
9. Ensuring the security of all Company property including stock, equipment, buildings, cash and keys.
10. Maintaining all recording systems as required by the Company and the law.
11. Ensure that stock management procedures are maintained and that stock reports and records are produced accurately, on time and within budget.

The owners & management couple cover all aspects of work on the campsite, and we are looking for a person or a couple who can work 1.5 to 2 days a week on the site to assist in the running of the site at busy periods, cover rota days off, on call duties, holidays etc.
In exchange, we will provide a pitch for the season (you must have your own caravan or motorhome) with your electric, gas, laundry etc inclusive. Any additional hours worked would be paid at the national minimum wage.
This leaves plenty of time to enjoy living in this truly wonderful part of the world, on a particularly peaceful and pleasant campsite, and be part of a friendly and supportive team.
We require someone who is physically capable for the role, with a strong sense of customer service that take pride in what they do, and who shares the same work values as the managers and owners.
