Vacancy: Seasonal Site Assistants - Applications close 13/12/2016
Employer's Name: Bellingham Camping And Caravanning Club SiteLocation: Northumberland

Job Vacancy: Site Assistants

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and ‘hands-on' pair to join our team as seasonal Site Assistants/Park Wardens, each on 30 hrs per week.

The pair will assist the Site Managers/Owners in the day-to-day running of our idyllic camp site in Northumberland. The assistants are required for the job from 10 April to 13 September 2017 but are welcome to arrive up to 1 week earlier and stay 1 week later (holiday).

We require a couple who take ownership of tasks, enjoy their work, and take pride in everything they do. They must enjoy interacting with customers and have an easy-going nature. The business is very much customer focused and we pride ourselves on doing the very best for all customers who stay.

We require each person of the pair for a 30 hours per week position, to complement another Site Assistant pair already employed. The hours are approximately 11:00-18:00 (with lunch break), with the exception of 2 days for which shifts end later (8pm). Thurs and Fri are complete days off, plus you have a free Sat morning, starting at 3pm.

Note that we are deliberately increasing number of staff this year to enable us to spend more time with our children after school during their GCSE years.

The appointed couple must live on site in their own single touring unit, with free pitch, electrics, gas and laundry, plus access to toilets and hot showers.

Duties (shared with the Owners/Managers/other Assistants) are varied including all aspects of running the site such as manning reception, grounds maintenance, siting camping units (caravans, motorhomes, tents), dealing with customer enquiries, billing, taking bookings and phone calls, gas deliveries, cleaning of toilet/shower block and camping pods.

Previous experience is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided and you should ultimately be competent enough to run the site in our absence if necessary.

More details on the Site are available at www.thefriendlyclub.co.uk/bellingham and our Facebook page is www.facebook.com/bellinghamCamp

To apply, please send your C.V. and a covering letter by email to Bellingham.site@thefriendlyclub.co.uk.

Note that we are a Franchised Camping and Caravanning Club Site and you are employed by our Company and not the Camping and Caravanning Club directly.

We look forward to hearing from you

Many thanks

Johanna and David
