Glenbrittle Campsite are recruiting for dedicated, enthusiastic hard working staff, Full time and part time seasonal with a real sense of pride in their work and varied skill sets to work at Glenbrittle Campsite, Glenbrittle, Carbost, Isle of Skye, IV47 8TA. These are live in positions and would be required to share accommodation in static caravans on site. Or Electric supplied with own camper van accommodation. The campsite is located at the base of the Cuillin mountain range, is remote and right next to Glenbrittle beach Isle of Skye.

Seasonal positions: 25th March till 30th Sep 2017, training onsite required early march.

Shop onsite: selling essential groceries and camping equipment, freshly baked bread, tray bakes and pastries , The shop is also the reception area and office for booking Electric hook ups on site pitches etc. Answering the phone and emails daily.

The site: requires a lot of ongoing maintenance during the season anything from mowing the grass, fencing, cleaning toilets and showers, filling pot holes in track, fixing any problems that occur during the day to day running of the site, changing water filters and general cleanliness of site

The toilet and shower block: this needs attention all through the day to maintain high standards of cleanliness which reflects the nightly rate the campers pay.

Skills ideally required for all these roles are:

Knowledge of:

• Building and plumbing, borehole water supplies and water filter systems.

• Using equipment like ride on mower, Strimmer, Mitre saw etc.

• Knowledge of Health and safety at work and completing risk assessments

• Retail experience using touch screen till and EPOS System.

Skills and qualities essential for all these roles:

• UK Driving licence

• Excellence customer service, with a smile and huge highland welcome.

• Enthusiasm

• Dedication

• Multi-tasking

• Interest in new skills and willing to learn

• Some knowledge of computers

• Flexible and willing to work overtime to cover illness and holidays

Trossachs Holiday Park is a prestigious, family owned, award winning park located 35 miles north of Glasgow set in the picturesque surroundings of the Trossachs. This Visit Scotland 5 star and AA Gold 5 Pennant rated park consists of 84 privately owned static holiday homes, 22 privately owned lodges, 10 hire fleet static holiday homes, 2 hire fleet lodges, touring pitches, tent field, reception building and toilet block all set in 40 acres of well maintained grounds.

This residential post would suit an individual or couple. 5 days a week including weekends. 3 bedroom bungalow provided on the park.

The successful candidate/candidates will have, as a minimum, experience of:

Management in the holiday park sector

Holiday Home sales,

Hospitality,

Computer literacy,

Office procedures,

Ground maintenance

Team leadership.

The role will include but is not restricted to:

Answering and reporting to the park owners

Managing, organising, supervising, training and motivating a team of 6 - 20 members with seasonal peaks.

Ensuring the park and its team comply with all appropriate legislation and maintain all necessary licences

Health and safety

Processing and managing customer bookings.

Cash handling

Reviewing and implementing the parks policies and procedures and ensuring compliance.

Delivering the high level of customer service that our customers have come to expect.

Ensuring sales are transacted from initial enquiry through to successful hand over.

Supervising house keeping to ensure all facilities and hire fleet are presented to a high standard.

Supervising ground staff in all aspects of the parks maintenance including the siting of static caravans.

Problem solving for customers

Adopting a hands on approach to all aspects of the park.

Campsie Glen Holiday Park is a rural, family friendly holiday park located in the middle of the stunning scenery of the Campsie Fells in central Scotland. Access to own transport will be required due to the location of this park, local towns are a 5-10minute drive with Glasgow being approx. 30 mins away.

Our holiday park has a large number of privately owned holiday homes, a growing fleet of caravans for hire (lodges coming in 2017), touring and camping pitches as well as having an onsite Bar & Bistro.

We are looking for an experienced couple to join our team, covering the main roles of Reception/Administrator and Grounds/Maintenance. This is a live-in position with Lodge accommodation being provided with the position (gas & electric are chargeable). As part of the live in position general Warden Duties are required outwith Office opening times, this includes being available for late arrivals, checking facilities, dealing with any park emergencys and have a general care for the park.

This position is available to start any time between 14th November 2016 and 1st February 2017 and is a permanent role. Hours for the role will be full time from 1st March-31st October with reduced hours during the winter months. A competitive hourly rate will be provided to each person along with an additional rate for nights spent ‘On Call.

A couple experienced in the roles to be carried out will be essential, with previous holiday park experience being beneficial. Those who have worked on holiday parks will know, these roles require flexibility, a strong team ethic and an ability to deal with the unexpected.

We are a well-established family park located on the outskirts of Balloch on the southern tip of the beautiful Loch Lomond.

Lomond Woods is a small piece of tranquillity while still within walking distance to the centre of Balloch and all local amenities. The park has very popular touring pitches, a small number of privately owned holiday homes as well as our own hire fleet which includes caravans, lodges and glamping pods.

We are looking for an active couple who will look after our touring area, be responsible for the housekeeping of our shower block and family rooms, general tidiness of the touring zones including litter picking and garden maintenance as well as ensuring a high level of customer service for our touring guests and assisting with housekeeping of our Glamping Pods. Part of this role will also require you to be available outwith office hours for late arrivals and any park emergencies.

This position will be available from 1st March 2017 until end of October. As part of this role, a competitive hourly rate will be provided to each person along with an additional rate for nights spent ‘On Call and a free seasonal touring pitch for the period of employment (electric will be chargeable). Hours will be variable, possibility of split shifts to allow plenty of time to explore the local area and generally 2 days off per week.

All levels of experience in this industry welcome, a can do attitude is the key to this role along with flexibility, a love of no 2 days being the same and an ability to deal with the unexpected.

We are a small family run, well established holiday park with a Lochside location surrounded by stunning scenery.

We cater for tents, caravans and motor homes and we have a few lodges for let on a weekly basis.

We are looking for an active couple to clean the shower block and laundry areas, to carry out ground maintenance, to collect the rubbish and recycling and to received guests when the park reception is closed.

If you think you might be suitable, would like to experience living in the West Highlands of Scotland, would enjoy a few hours off each day to visit the surrounding area then please get in touch.

The position would run from April until end of September. A free pitch with electric is available along with an appropriate wage.

A hands on approach is essential for this role and you will be expected to have a high profile on the park and be accessible to customers.

Be flexible, courteous, conscientious.

A clean UK driving licence is required.
