Glenbrittle Campsite Wardens (to 30th September)

Voted No.1 UK Campsite by the Daily Telegraph a few years ago, we are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking full and part-time seasonal Campsite Wardens with a genuine sense of pride in their work and varied skill sets for the 2016 season. You must be able to multi-task with some previous experience in customer service, retail, cash handling and general site maintenance. Duties to include checking in arrivals, organising electric hook-ups, serving in our campsite shop, dealing with face to face, phone and email enquiries, cleaning and assistance with general site maintenance work. Home to Cuillin Coffee café, previous barista experience would be beneficial. You will require your own transport due to the sites remote location at the foot of the Cuillin mountains. Onsite training will be given. We offer excellent rates of pay at £8 per hour, in-house training, free shared accommodation plus the chance to work in wonderful surroundings.

SEASONAL/FULL TIME WARDEN COUPLE

Set within the beautiful grounds of Haughton Country Park, Alford, Aberdeenshire. Haughton House Holiday Park seeks a fit, active, outgoing friendly couple as caravan park wardens to work 5 days per week including weekends and evenings on call. (Season from present to mid November),with the possibility of all year round.

Duties include

Reception Welcoming and checking in customers at reception. Answering telephone/e-mail enquiries from, touring caravans, motor homes, tents, holiday caravans for hire and processing associated administration.

Cleaning: - Toilet blocks (1/2) depending on demand. Caravan holiday homes for hire, including laundry and ironing, and office to the very highest standards.

Park and ground works, general DIY and maintenance tasks, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control and refuse collection. Ensuring the park is maintained to the highest of standards.

Evening Duties to cover late arrivals and check toilet facilities.

The successful applicants must be friendly, fit, outgoing and have excellent customer service skills. Experience preferred but not essential, but must have experience in caravanning. Must be extremely flexible and be able to work as part of a small team.

Haughton House Holiday Park seeks a fit, active, outgoing friendly couple as relief wardens/full time groundsperson. Relief Wardens to work 2 to 4 days per week depending on demand also incorporating ground maintenance over 5 days per week including weekends and evenings on call. Season mid- April to beginning of November.

In return we would be offering a package including salary, accommodation, your own touring caravan/motorhome,or possibly caravan holiday home, utilities (reasonable consumption), laundry and wifi.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB


Work as a member of the Grounds team to ensure that the park is presented to our visitors in a good condition throughout the year.

Where possible enhance and improve visitor enjoyment of the caravan park.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Report daily to the Maintenance Manager and undertake work as planned or discussed taking into account weather conditions and any other factors likely to affect scheduled work
ˇ Ensure the park grounds are maintained and presented to good standard throughout the year with particular attention given to all turf and trees.
ˇ To be responsible for the cleanliness and neat presentation of work areas and vehicles, equipment at all times. Undertake routine maintenance on all plant and equipment.
ˇ Use safely pesticides and herbicides and in accordance with COSHH assessments. Keep up to date records of chemicals used and location applied
ˇ Report for duty at times specified including weekends.
ˇ Ensure the comfort of all visitors by assisting with the management of traffic during busy periods inclusive of car parking and litter picking.
ˇ Ensure at all times health and safety regulations are adhered to, adopting safe work practices to protect yourself, colleagues and visitors. That all statutory and legal obligations are met whilst at work.
ˇ To wear overalls as supplied at all times whilst at work.
ˇ Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by your Supervisor/ Line Manager

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: 


ˇ Experience in the use of trailers and ride on mowers essential.
ˇ Must be able to undertake simple maintenance of machinery
ˇ Full clean UK driving license.
