We are looking for a warden/warden couple to work alongside our present team.

A touring caravan or motor home will be needed as it is necessary to live on site, although days and nights off are regular.

Previous park experience would be ideal, however, in-house training will be given and the opportunity of Welcome Host courses where applicable.

One person must be computer literate and able to operate the sites booking system and the other person will be more involved in grounds maintenance and cleaning and must have a full clean driving licence.

The couple must be; enthusiastic, confident, self motivated, with some administrative experience, physically fit and most importantly possess great customer service qualities. The couple we are looking for will enjoy meeting people, be versatile and easy going.

Other duties will include reception (ie meeting and greeting), shop and cleaning duties.

The couple must be flexible and if necessary must be prepared to take on any task required to ensure the safe, efficient running of the Park.

As Weekend Park Wardens you will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Checking in customers to our ‘Tent Field

• On call responsibilities

• Campsite maintenance e.g. Mowing, hedgecutting

• Moving storage caravans

The Wardens must be/have:

•A positive attitude with a love for camping

•Hard working, able to use their own initiative, friendly and reliable

• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role

• Driving Licence required by both parties

• Excellent customer care (previous customer facing job experience)

• Skills in Plumbing, Joinery and Electric are beneficial but by no means essential

• Must have basic I.T. skills

•Be able to tow a caravan

Six-month contract with the possibility of yearly.

Friday - Sunday

Each Warden would be required to work either 9am - 6pm or 10am - 7pm. Both shifts include 1 hours break

Essential skill sets will include:

• Being a natural leader with relevant hands on experience at manager level in all aspects of daily static and touring park operation. This will also include grounds management/maintenance which will demand a practical DIY approach/knowledge, particularly in the smooth running of the drainage, sewerage & electric systems typical of a large rural park

• Familiarity with overviewing and co-coordinating caravan holiday homes sales.

• Ability to manage a team as well as being a team player. This must include organising rotas and effective payroll management.

• Proven ability to use initiative, work unsupervised, resolve problems, make decisions, be at ease dealing with customer issues and maintain high standards of service.

• Reporting to the Group operations manager, the role(s) will also require:

Holding of a Personal Licence (BIIAB).

Responsibility for Health and Safety - maintaining a safe park environment is paramount.

Booking and reception office management, computer literacy, experience of online booking systems, Excel/Word and the ability to work to a budget/understand achieving profit goals.

The pro-active ability to think laterally, identify, present and implement opportunities for moving the existing business forward.

The successful candidate(s) will need to be:

Physically fit and willing to lead by example and put in long hours during the Easter/end of October season. The role(s) are full-time.
