Individuals must be flexible on hours, job roles and responsibilities. Weekly 7 day rotas are worked in conjunction with our existing full and part time staff, with two days off per week. All staff are guaranteed an average of 25 paid hours per week each, this can often be more, especially in the summer months. A pitch with electric for your own motor home/caravan will be provided with free laundry tokens each week. Applicants with pets are more than welcome.
The roles are varied and include: Cleaning static caravans, sales vans, laundry block, toilet block and general site maintenance. As a couple you will be paid £17.50 for each caravan you clean and £24.50 for each lodge you clean.

We are currently seeking to recruit a seasonal, full time Warden couple to work from early/mid July to early September to cover the busy summer period. If you always fancied being a Warden but were unsure about making the leap, then why not have this taster session first through the summer to see if it suits you. There is then the option of working a full season next year (our Wardens normally start in March and work through until the end of October, or until September if a shorter season is preferred).
We are looking for people who are practical, active and friendly. Duties include: cleaning; showing customers to their pitch; towing caravans; light maintenance tasks; helping customers; strimming; etc. The work could also involve duties in the Leisure Park; these could range from supervising play equipment to catering, distributing leaflets to promote the Park, working in the entrance kiosk or shop. A Seasonal Warden couple is required with immediate effect to assist our current Mangers in the day to day duties on site. The position will run for 16 weeks (End of September 2017). Salary will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis if less than 16 weeks.
Experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be given but the successful applicants will be keen and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude.
We thrive on a team approach and our Trip Advisor reviews reflect this. We need a couple that take pride in their work and are flexible.
Warden 1 will be required to assist in all groundwork duties, maintenance, daily utility block cleaning, customer liaison, taking to pitch and the operation of all site machinery as directed by the Park Manager and on site resident owners. The hours (with 3 late duties per week) will be in the order of 50 hours per week (Times to be agreed and including cover for days off) for a 16 week season(Depending upon start date)and will run to the end of September 2017. Salary will be £6,000 (based upon 16 weeks) for the season (Equivalent to £19,500 pa). There may be occasions when you may be asked to stay on during busy periods and the salary reflects this.
Warden 2 will be required to assist the Office Manager in the reception/shop when needed but otherwise to clean and prepare our static fleet of 10 hire caravans over busy changeover days and to assist in the cleaning of the utility blocks. The hours are likely to be in the order of 30 hours (Times to be agreed) for a 16 week season. Salary will be £3,520 for the season (based upon 16 weeks - equivalent to £11,440 pa). There may be occasions when you may be asked to stay on during busy periods and the salary reflects this.
Hours of course could be shared for late duties where you both end up doing about 40 hours a week each and the salary would be adjusted/shared accordingly.
Both jobs will be interactive as sometimes it is a case of all hands on deck during busy periods.
In addition to your hours worked you will both accrue holiday pay at the prescribed rate which will be payable at the end of the season.
A 2 bedroom Static Caravan will be provided on site for the duration of the season and will include all gas, water and electricity.
In line with HMRC guidelines an accommodation offset charge will be made in the sum of £30 per week for each employee. (HMRC recommend £42.00, therefore a benefit in kind of £12.00 per week each.
This role is seasonal but for the right candidates there will be the opportunity to join us for the whole season in 2018 (Late March 2018 - End September 2018)

Job Vacancy: Seasonal Assistant Warden Couple
We are looking for another Warden couple to join our family and team of wardens for the 2017 Season.
The successful candidates should be friendly, helpful with a high level of customer care and have the ability to work as part of a committed team, problem solving and using their own initiative to adapt to each situation.
The vacancy is for a couple to cover all duties including (but not limited to):
Daily cleaning and maintenance of toilet/shower blocks
Maintaining the Park grounds, grass cutting, strimming, litter picking, reading water meters, cleaning refuse areas, weeding and tidying pitches, general gardening, security checking outbuildings
Welcoming guests, showing to pitch, answering enquiries, communicating with the team
Knowledge of caravanning issues (e.g. electrical trips) and general camping safety
Twice daily checking of pool chemical levels and cleaning (full training is given)
Towing caravans and siting on correct pitch
Reception work: Make bookings and check customers in, general administration such as filing and processing invoices, organising daily pitch arrivals and departures. Assisting in customer enquiries. Meeting and greeting in person and over the phone. Activating barrier system for customers stay. Using Electric card top up system for seasonal customers and metered electric pitches. (Computer experience preferred)
Shop Duties, handling cash and making sales using card processing, date checking, stock rotation and ordering.
1 to 3 evenings per week on rota and on call night warden
And any other tasks involved in assisting in the day to day running of the Park.
General repairs and maintenance to include basic electrical and plumbing work
Full driving licence, towing licence
Previous experience as a campsite warden
Working hours vary depending on how busy the Park is and usually fall between 25 to 45 per week for each person. Hours worked are paid at minimum wage. Each couple work the same days of 5 per week, with 2 set days off. Work will be expected on weekends, bank holidays and a rota for duty warden/ night on call for emergencies (1 to 3 nights per week).
A pitch is supplied for the duration of employment so the successful applicant must bring their own motorhome or touring caravan, where electric and water is provided. Free laundry & Wifi is provided.
The position would start in June until October 2017. Currently there are no hours available over the winter months, however this could be reviewed nearer the time depending on circumstances.

Hi, we are a small farm campsite and are looking for a wardens to help us on site throughout the year. Duties would include cleaning toilet blocks, cutting grass (ride on mower) and helping with the rubbish/recycling.
Experience essential. Non paid position, however a lovely seasonal pitch, with electric, would be provided in exchange for 2-4 hours help on the site each day. At busy times if hours were over the time negotiated, payment would be recieved.
Hours would differ depending on the season and how busy we are. For example,, during the week (Monday-Thursday) the toilets and bins need to be checked which takes 1.5-2.5 hours. Friday, Saturday, Sunday 2.5-3.5 hours as this is our busy time.
Grass cutting is done on a Thursday ready for the weekend. We use a ride on mower and strim around seasonal pitches.
Lovely caravan pitch available to bring own caravan. (Please see the website map pitch is H1) Electric will be provided free of charge.
Please note this is a non paid position, but the job would allow for other part time work locally. Hours will be negotiated per week, depending on how busy we are.
