Monkton Wyld Caravan Park is looking for a couple to assist us in providing a first-class service, and in creating a safe, relaxed enjoyable holiday environment for all of our visitors by ensuring the smooth running of our 150+ pitch touring park at all times.
One role would be primarily office based with duties to include reception and shop, dealing with customer arrivals,bookings and queries. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service which starts from first contact with our customers either by telephone or face to face and includes showing them to their pitch, answering any queries they may have about the site or the surrounding area. Whilst full training will be provided a basic knowledge of computers would be required.
The other role would when necessary includes the above but is primarily focused outdoors and would be based on the grounds, grass cutting, strimming and general site maintenance, all the 101 little things that can crop up on a busy camp site. We have a large storage compound so the ability to tow caravans into and out of this area onto pitch ready for visitors arrivals would be required.
We would be looking for the ideal couple to join the team later this Summer with a view to carrying forward to the following season
Hours vary according to season but would generally be 35 per week increasing to around 40 during high season. There will be two consecutive days off together each week with free pitch and electricity. The season ends this year on the 4th November

The other person would ideally have some experience in plumbing, electrical work, maintenance and general gardening. Cleaning duties would also be involved in this position.
We offer a pitch including electric hook up in exchange for a total of 20 hours work per week. Extra paid work would be available; initially this would be in the region of 25 hours each per week rising to 35 hours each per week during mid July to the end of August.

We are looking for someone willing to work, and live, as part of our friendly team with an 'everyone muck in' and 'can do attitude. This position would suit an active older/early retirement couple and people who like to work outdoors. Excellent people skills are essential. Experience of campsite work is preferred but not vital as training will be given
Position starting Early May ending Mid-September; you will be expected to work all Bank Holidays and weekends and need to have your own Mobile Caravan or Motorhome.
Over a 5 day period you will be required to work on average 3 hours per day and the work will include greeting late arrivals after the reception has closed to show them to their pitch, carry out some late evening warden shifts on site, and in the early morning check tickets and follow up arrivals from the previous evening. This will rise to 6 days a week during July and August. In return a free pitch with electric and use of all the facilities including the laundry.
In addition, you will be required to cover the two days off per week taken by our cleaning staff. This part of the job is for two full days midweek and involves thorough cleaning of two facilities blocks and maybe some other maintenance work (such as mowing/strimming) as needed. These two days will be paid at a rate to be discussed with the successful applicant(s).

Located on the Pentewan Cycle Trail the site is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall. River Valley is a mixture of 40 static caravans and 46 touring pitches with an indoor swimming pool.
Our family park is looking for a couple to become site wardens on the holiday park. Duties include working independently of each other in the reception, cleaning of the toilet block and caravans, gardening, shutting of the pool and general site maintenance as required.
The ideal couple will be friendly, flexible, have good DIY skills, computer literate, a ‘can do attitude and suit people who enjoy meeting others and working as part of a small team.
You must own your own caravan or motorhome to live in.
The package we are offering includes 20 - 30 paid hours with an additional 5 hours work in lieu of a hard standing pitch with electric, there will also be the occasional on call duties throughout the season.
Flexibility regarding the exact hours worked will depend on demand and some of the maintenance tasks will be weather dependent.
This seasonal position is to start from mid April
