Must have own modern caravan/motorhome less than 28 feet long.

South East Cornwall is a fantastic place to explore, with the coastal path, Tamar Valley, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor all in easy reach, so bring your walking boots! Jobs will include -

Cleaning & Maintenance: Full cleaning of the shower/toilet/laundry block. Evening & early morning facilities check. Applicants must have a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. At times, jobs will include strimming, bin swapping, litter picking and odd jobs.

Late Arrivals: We will need the applicant to stay onsite overnight 2/3 evenings per week. You will greet late arrivals after the reception closes and do a final walk around to check the site. We can provide a caravan to stay onsite. Open to discussion if you have your own caravan or motorhome.

Shop & Reception: Serving of customers, and booking in new arrivals to the campsite along with general stocking up and tidying of the shop and reception (this part will include some heavy lifting). Shop and reception will be 2/3 days out of the 5.

Hours will vary between 30 - 40 hours per week and will increase during busy periods and high season, but will be over 5 days.

We store a large number of caravans so an ability to site and store them would be an advantage. Experience with ride on mowers useful but not essential- we can train you.

We are looking for another Warden Couple to join our family and team of wardens for the 2017 Season.

The successful candidates should be friendly and helpful with a high level of customer care and have the ability to work as part of a committed team. Problem solving and using your own initiative to adapt to each situation are also essential attributes.

The vacancy is for a couple to cover all duties including (but not limited to):

Essential:

Daily cleaning and maintenance of toilet and shower blocks, laundry and outside sinks. This is a physically demanding role, especially in the peak season. In low season this will be approx. 2 hours a day in total, in peak season this could rise to 5 hours a day in total. The hours can be split between a couple or one person can work the total hours.

1 to 3 evenings per week on a rota for evening and night warden duties.

And any other tasks involved in assisting in the day to day running of the Park.

Desirable:

General repairs and maintenance to include basic electrical and plumbing work

Full driving licence

Previous experience as a campsite warden

A least one person within couple should be computer literate to help in reception/shop occasionally when required.

Working hours vary depending on how busy the Park is and usually range between 10 to 30 per week for the couple. Hours worked are paid at the living wage rate. Each couple will work the same days each week with 2 set days off. Work will be expected on weekends, bank holidays and a rota for on call evening/overnight warden duties (1 to 3 nights per week). Located just two miles from St Ives town centre, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Trevalgan Touring Park has a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere.

Surrounded by open farmland Trevalgan lies nestled between the gorse, bracken and heather covered granite hills and the dramatic north Cornish coastline. The Park offers spectacular views and an abundance of flowers and wildlife. A variety of birds, seals and even dolphins can sometime be spotted from the nearby South West Coast Path.

Job Vacancy: Deputy Warden Couple (July/August)

A 'Deputy Warden' couple is required to join our small friendly team and will be integral in helping us provide a 'five star' experience for our guests.

Couple 3

July and August

5 hours x 5 days per week = 25 hours per person/week

Duties to include cleaning and night wardening/night cleaning.

Hi, we are a small farm campsite and are looking for a retired couple to help us out from March when we open until November when we close. Duties would include cleaning toilet blocks, cutting grass (ride on mower) and helping with the rubbish/recycling.

Experience essential. Non paid position, however a lovely seasonal pitch would be provided in exchange for help on the site. If at busy times hours were over the time negotiated, payment would be recieved.

Hours would differ depending on the season and how busy we are.

Lovely caravan pitch available to bring own caravan. Electric will be provided free of charge.

Woodlands Grove is a large, family run, AA 5 Gold Pennant camping & touring park with award winning facilities. It is set in beautiful South Devon, just seven miles from the nearest beach and five miles from the picturesque, waterside town of Dartmouth. We are members of the Best of British Quality Touring and Holiday Parks.

We are currently seeking to recruit a seasonal, full time Warden couple to work from early March to the end of October or early September 2017. There is also an opening to work part time during the closed winter season, October/November 2016 to March 2017. If you always fancied being a Warden but were unsure about making the leap, then why not have a taster session first; spend some time here between 22nd and 30th October 2016 to give it a try.

We are looking for people who are practical, active and friendly. Duties include: cleaning; showing customers to their pitch; towing caravans; light maintenance tasks; helping customers; strimming; etc. The work could also involve duties in the Leisure Park; these could range from supervising play equipment to catering, distributing leaflets to promote the Park, working in the entrance kiosk or shop. This is a varied and interesting role which would suit an enthusiastic, reliable couple. A detailed Job Description is included in the application pack.

In addition to the wage, a free electric pitch is included for your touring caravan/motorhome and discounted meals.
