We are looking for a hard working maintenance / grounds person(s) to join our team.

You will be responsible to the Park Manager and work as part of a small friendly team to help to keep the holiday park in top condition. The post will be averaging 40 hours per week, with paid holiday.

The role will involve some weekends, evenings and holiday cover, so you would need to be flexible.

Duties include: Maintaining the grounds to a 5* standard, including Gardening, Strimming, Hedge cutting, Grass cutting, painting and all other general maintenance tasks. Moving and siting touring caravans using a small tractor (training available), delivering a 5* customer service and any other task deemed relevant by the Park Manager.

Essential; Full clean driving licence

Preferred; Previous Ground keeping, Gardening and Maintenance experience, basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics, confident with towing and maneuvering (i.e caravans / trailers)

We're looking for two super-friendly, outgoing and conscientious people to join our small team from March - October inclusive. You will be warmly welcoming guests to our yurts, tent and van pitches, 4 holiday cottages and B & B and providing efficient and exceptional service to help them have a great holiday. You will share our commitment to high standards of cleanliness and work with the team on cleaning and maintenance duties for the camp site and yurts. At least one of you will have practical skills and the ability to resolve basic maintenance issues. Confidence with computers and phone is essential for both as you will share office duties taking bookings and dealing with enquiries/sales in our small shop. Full training will be given.

You must have your own caravan / motorhome to live in on site, GSOH, presentable appearance and cheerful, can do attitude. A reasonable level of fitness is essential to walk and drive 4 x 4 around our hilly site and the role can be physically demanding, moving firewood etc.

This is a great opportunity for an active couple who want to work in a varied role and enjoy the many attractions and activities offered in this beautiful area. Also for people serious about gaining experience of the industry and learning about a glamp site/sustainable tourism business. Plenty of time off with great opportunities for walking, cycling, kayaking etc

The Woodlands Caravan Park is a 4 star family run caravan/camping site in Mid Wales. We have 100 privately owned caravans (no lettings) and a busy but manageable camping/touring field and a self catering bungalow.

Help is required for reception work, daily booking in from your accommodation after 5.00pm and daily cleaning of our toilet and shower block. We will also require the successful couple to help maintain the overall running and appearance of the park. The park adjoins our sheep farm. There may be occasions when you will need to put your wellies on and give Alphie a hand with farm work. Grass cutting and strimming are part of the on going duties. The bin enclosure and the recycling bins will need to be kept clean and tidy.

Basically we need a hard working couple where the lady has a happy telephone manner, be helpful and welcoming to our customers and reply to emails. She must also be prepared to keep our award winning toilet and shower facilities spic and span and prepare the self catering bungalow for new arrivals throughout the season. The gentleman should also be prepared to clean the gents area of the toilet and shower block and ensure the park is kept clean and tidy as mentioned above.

No previous wardening experience is necessary for this position. We just need a kind, honest, friendly, helpful couple with some knowledge of camping/touring.

A static caravan next to reception will be provided.

The park is in the picturesque village of Devils Bridge some 12 miles inland form the coastal town of Aberystwyth. You will be given plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful area.
