This is a Caravan Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes (no tents) and is for Caravan Club Members only.

We currently charge £12 per night inclusive.
This small level site is situated 1 mile from Hartington and about 200m from The Tissington Trail which is great for cycling or walking. There are walks from the field gate in all direction and fabulous views. The site has electrics, water and toilet disposal facilities as well as recycling facilities. The site is well drained and easy to access. There are pubs and restaurants within a mile as well as a home made pizza delivery service which currently operates on a Wed, Sat and Sunday evening. There is a chip van in Hartington on most Friday evenings for those who have arrived after a long journey.
If it is dry then we may extend opening into late October. Please call to ask.

Of course the main attraction is the fabulous countryside for long or short walks over hills or through deep limestone gorges.
Directions
A515 from Buxton. Turn right taking B5054 towards Hartington. Take immediate left, (unmarked).
A515 from Ashbourne & Newhaven. Turn left taking B5054 towards Hartington. Take immediate left, (unmarked).
Follow this lane until you come to a T-Junction with the Heathcote sign facing you.
Turn right at Heathcote sign. (If coming from Hartington please turn left just after the post box on your left hand side.) Please be careful as this is a farm track and can be rather muddy with a few pot holes.
