This site is on a family run cattle and sheep farm, also free range chicken and duck eggs for sale.
The site has pitches for 11 seasonal caravans and 11 other pitches for tourers and tents which sit on 2 acres of land. Electric hook-ups and water stand pipe are available for each seasonal caravan and electric hook up for the other 11.
There is a toilet block with 2 separate showers which takes 50p coins. The site also has a disabled shower and toilet. A chemical waste disposal point is available near the toilet block.
There is a washing up facility with a double sink and washing machine; as well a chest freezer is available. Sockets are available for mobile phone charging and hairdryer use.
BBQs are permitted but up to a reasonable time of around 11PM.
We welcome dogs, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and any mess must be cleaned up by the dog owners.
Nearby Attractions
There are several beaches around the area, the closest two located in the village of Tudweilog a mile away and the other in Morfa Nefyn which has the Ty Coch inn and excellent scenery.
The nearest golf course is the Nefyn and District Golf course located 2 miles away in Morfa Nefyn.
There are local shops in both directions within a mile with post office, groceries and local pubs which serve delicious meals.
The nearest town is Pwllheli which is a 20 minute away.
Further afield is Aberdaron which has trips to Bardsey Island.
Directions
Exit the A55 at J10; follow the A4087 and A487 heading for Caernarfon.
Travel through Caernarfon and continue along the A487 for about 15 miles until you reach Y Ffor.
At Y Ffor take the right turn towards Nefyn.
Continue for about 5 miles and then turn right on to the A497.
Continue along the A497 and at the roundabout, take the second exit (straight ahead) heading towards Morfa Nefyn.
Continue through of Morfa Nefyn, and at the T Junction, turn left.
Stay on this road, travelling through the village of Edern. We are on the left hand side approximately 1.5 miles after Edern.
