Sheltered from winds by tree belt in rural location. Two miles from coast, 5 miles NW of Stranraer, 2 miles to shop at Leswalt.
Modern Facilities block. Accessible for disabled, free shower, toilets with private washbasins, and hot water to washing up sinks. Fridge-freezer. Heated in cold weather. We do not provide chemical disposal.
Cars are parked in 2 parking areas. If you have special needs and need your car beside your tent please let us know when making your booking, as we may be able to make arrangements.

Tents more than 6 x4 metres may be charged extra per night at busy periods. Gazebos only by arrangement and charged.

Campfires and BBQ's OK using our firehearths to protect grass. We supply firepit, logs, kindling, firelighters and paper.
At present mobile phone signal for O2 (2G) is good around the site. Other networks can be used 1 mile towards Stranraer.
Dogs welcome and one dog is free, extra dogs £1 each but must be on lead at all times, dog walking path around field.
Ferries to Ulster 12 miles at Cairnryan.
Local shopping centre and supermarkets at Stranraer Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl. Independent shops- butchers, bakers and greengrocery.
North and South Rhinns peninsula. Mull of Galloway.
Gardens of Galloway:- Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan, Logan Botanic Gardens.
Sea and beach fishing, beaches and cliffs accessible by foot and vehicle.

Drive into South Ayrshire for Girvan, Ailsa Craig etc.

Portpatrick harbour and village, with seafront eating houses 10 miles, Sandhead with pub and cafe and shop. Corsewall lighthouse resturant and views of North Channel.
From Stranraer take road west from town, signed Leswalt, Kirkcolm. Pass golf course on right.
At roundabout straight across for Leswalt (do not go to Kirkcolm).
At Leswalt village go past shop on left, and at graveyard head up steep hill with bends. At top of hill pass car park for Agnew Monument. Camping site is one mile ahead, first cottage on left.
