This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and usually tents, space permitting.

Wallace lane Farm is a licenced Caravan and Camping Club site, providing five fully serviced pitches for Caravans and Motor homes, each with hard standing and awning area. Each pitch has a 16amp electric hook up as well as its own water supply and a grey waste water disposal point.
The Camping area has room for 10 tents, 7 of which have electric hook up and water. We welcome all campers large or small and also pets.
Our site is located on the North Cumbrian Fells and has spectacular views over the Solway Plain towards the Scotish Mountains with stunning sunsets.
The site is on our 23 acre smallholding where we also have two holiday cottages, and also offer B+B accomodation in our farm house. The site is ideal for those with pets and we were recomended as one of the top six places for holidaying with your pet by the Daily Mail holiday magazine in April 2012,
For 2012 we now have a new shower and toilet block with free showers, washing up facilities as well as hairdryers shaver points and mobile phone charger points,
we have free WI FI available for our guests
Laundry washing and drying facilities will also be available from May 2012
We also offer motor home service facilities with water, waste and cleaning facilities,
we are a quiet site with fantastic views and are welcoming of families, pets and small groups.
Caravan storage is also available for a limited number of vans. sorry we do not provide seasonal pitches but we can provide storage between visits.
Nearby Attractions
The site is situated about 2.5 miles from the picturesque village of Caldbeck. The Cumbria Way footpath passes through the village and there are a variety of walks along the rivers round the pond and on the fells. There is a village store, a pub, gift shops and tearooms in Caldbeck, other nearby villages are Uldale, Hesket Newmarket and Ireby, with Pubs and tea rooms. The nearby market town of Wigton provides a good range of shops.
We are about 20 minutes from Cockermouth, the Solway Coast, Bathenswaite Lake, Carlile and Hadrians wall. Also we are in easy reach of Keswick and the spectaculor scenery of the Northern Fells including the hills of Skiddaw and Blencathra.
Directions
From the village of Caldbeck proceed North out of the village for aprox 0.5 mile. At the crossroads go straight on over the cattle grid, follow sign for Wigton. Follow this road for just over two miles, our farm is on the left hand side, marked by our green sign. Enter by the driveway and bear left for the caravan and camping fild when the driveway splits. We have plenty of offroad parking and turning space.
