This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and usually tents, space permitting. You must be a Club member to use this site. This is an adults only site.

New for 2015 Luxury Camping Pod, Secluded setting on your own private peninsular, positioned on the edge of our lake with a decked patio over the water, with two private fishing pegs Inside a settee/Double bed, Table & Chairs, Coffee table, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Hanging space & shelving Full length mirror, light fittings, blinds and of course plug sockets
Outside, built in seats under the 1m porch with storage Porch light & decking lights
New Shower/toilet Block with outdoor washing up area & fridge for campers
Set in 7 acres of unspoiled natural beauty
The site has individual zoned spaces all of which are lake side We now have 4 part hard standing pitches The rest are level & grassed Ample space for an awning & car All pitches have the option of electricity The main 5 pitches have the benefit of dusk to dawn lighting There's also an area for non electric tents
Sitting behind the site is over 2 acres perfect for walking dogs or just watching the wildlife on offer
The lake is 2 acres in size (an old brick pit) with 30 pegs, stocked with a mixed variety of fish Well known for its bream, but also include carp, tench, perch, rudd, roach, barbel, pike, Golden Orfe & eels Making the perfect place for fisherman or if fishing isn't for you enjoy the peaceful, relaxing scenery with beautiful lakeside views, magnificent sunsets & a haven for bird watchers (keep any eye out for the resident barn owl & king fishers)
A 5 minute stroll in either direction takes you to one of 2 local pubs, one of which "The Three Tuns" serves food Or a 20 min walk takes you to "The Barkham Arms" (open every day & serves food from 12 noon) Both are dog friendly
Around the corner is Thorpe Culvert Pumping Station Built in 1938, houses two Ruston and Hornsby 9XHRC diesel engines driving Gwynnes 36″ centrifugal pumps with each pump being capable of delivering some 100 tons, or 22,400 gallons of water per minute Open to the public on certain dates
2 miles takes you into Wainfleet famous for it's Brewery & with all other amenities Or 7 Miles takes you into the seaside resort of Skegness with many attractions
From Wainfleet take the Wainfleet Road (B1195)to Thorpe St Peter
You will pass by the Church on your Right Hand side Then turn Left onto Station Road (sign posted for Thorpe Culvert Railway station) Cross over the railway lines then turn Right onto Steeping Road "Grooby's Pit" can be found on the Left hand side
