This campsite is just a short drive from the walking and picnic ares of epping forest and the outstanding coutryside of the River Lee Country Park and the new Gunpowder Park. The quaint historic town of Waltham Abbey is 3km away which houses the famous Waltham Abbey, where you can see King Harold's tombstone. For children, close by there's also Lee Valley Park Farms with lots of animals for children to feed and cuddle as well as play areas for the children to go wild in.
Directions
The campsite is on the A112 between Chingford and Waltham Abbey, to the south of the M25. Leave the M25 at junction 26 and follow the signs. To reach the campsite by public transport from london, you take the Victoria underground line going north to the end, which is Walthamstow. from here you catch bus number 215, which will bring you to the campsite
